right extruder wrap up the part

Postby Oliviers » Thu Apr 13, 2017 7:58 am

Hi,

I try to print a part with the right extruder just to see how it works.
If I chose to add support, the right extruder wrap up the part in a thin layer.
I don't have this with left extruder.

Do you know how to avoid it?

Thanks,
Olivier

Did you make sure that you have chosen both Raft and Support nozzle to be right nozzle?

Hi,

I do all the configurations and I have the same problem with the right extruder.

I do the exercise with printing an other object.

First I print the object, raft and support with left extruder : everything is all right

Second, I slice the object and raft with left extruder and support with right extruder.
the object is wrap up in a thin layer printed by the left extruder

Third, I slice the object with left extruder and I slice support and raft with right extruder.
the object is wrap up in a thin layer printed by the left extruder

what you are seeing is the wipewall, its very helpful for 2 color prints. click off enable wipewall to make it go away
