Micro Swiss nozzles

Postby rimb05 » Thu Mar 09, 2017 2:13 pm

Are the Micro Swiss nozzles that Raise3D sells special in any way, or can regular Micro Swiss nozzles be used? I'm asking because I needed a 0.3mm nozzle and Raise3D doesn't have any currently. So I bought a standard Micro Swiss nozzle and installed it, but I'm getting more frequent jams now. I noticed that the mating surface between the nozzle and the throat tube is different on the standard nozzle. The chamfer on the nozzle end is larger, so I suspect that might be causing a leak. Any ideas?

What version of micro swiss do you use? I used to contact them and they said that it is commissioned by Raise3D and they can not sell it through their store.
