The screen needs to have enough time to figure out whether the power supply has been switched from Power Supply Unit to Battery. And saving the current printing status also takes time. The screen needs to find out which code is the one currently printing and save the record then power off itself.

is there no way to program the screen so that this does not happen when the power is suddenly turned off and on?

Due to hardware limits, it is hard to cut the time costing for judgement and saving.
And if the power back in very short time, sometimes the program may stuck as it hasn't completes the turning off progress yet.
If you don't need to print recovery function, you can directly unplug the battery from the screen logic board.

function needed by the renewal of printing, then I will put an uninterruptible power supply in addition
