If I was a betting person:
#1 you may not have the thermal protector installed
#2 you may not even be aware of what the ribbon cable fault does or looks like
#3 1 and 2 combine to cause failures, and depending on what exact firmware you are running this may or may not ever report a screen error, may not save any information to a log file, and so you sit and wonder why does this just stop with no warning?viewtopic.php?f=4&t=7162&p=28742&hilit=stops#p28742
#1 know if you have a thermal protector board installed, If not demand the free one ASAP
#2 turn on serial logging
#3 Ensure you are running at least Marlin 1.1.16 firmware and for Raisepack, recommend 0.9.7, please note that 0.9.9 and 0.9.10 may have some new features and functions that cause problems and we hope are fixed in 0.9.11
#4 1 and 2 will not magically fix the root cause here, but they will allow capture of information to correctly diagnose.
