1) max global offset on x is -10mm, I was routinely using -15mm.
2) all my printer settings and filament printing settings were erased. This is bad as these settings are important! Now I'm spending all day trying to hone in dual head offset yet once again. This programming shortcut is unnecessary but polishing the program takes some work and you may want to put settings and profiles in a separate settings folder. It is easier to fix this soon as the more versions you get, the more complicated everything becomes.

UPDATE- IMPORTANT!!
with this new version of ideamaker, my global offset is now 2,15. That is 25 mm HIGHER in y than the last itteration. So the -10 as max is correct AND if you are going to print large prints, check this on your machine before printing!!!

Actually from the first version we added global offset in, the limit have always been -10mm. I'm not sure how did you set it to -15mm.

We will only edit the default slicing templates when updating (High Quality, Standard and Speed). Actually we only clear the default slicing templates folder.
So we suggest if you want to edit the settings in default template, you'd better save it as another template.

I've had it twice that after an update the "Printer Type" was reset to the "N2" without the "V2 Hot End". That makes it look as if the custom templates had disappeared. But after reselecting my printer, all custom templates were back.

Yes. We won't edit your settings you have edited in customized templates unless your customized settings are in those three default templates. We will only reset the three default templates or add new settings into templates.

Am I wrong, or has moving the model on the bed changed? There is an arrow for moving the model in Z only, moving in X and Y is by dragging with the mouse now. I miss the colored arrows for separate X and Y movement of models on the bed. I found it very convenient to slide models in one axis only at a time using the arrows.

Being able to adjust the angle of the support structure is super handy, that's a great feature - thank you!

Yes. We cancel the arrows for X and Y. Because lots of people advised that they preferred to moving the model freely in X and Y direction.

Very often it happens that I select PLA instead on PLA V2 hot end. That could be your problem. Hope this helps.

This is definitely my preferred method, hated the arrows

Please check whether you have both chosen the printer type and filament type to be N2-V2 and PLA V2 or both with out V2.
PLA-V2 is at the bottom of the filament list.

We are so sorry. We will check whether we can help you to add this option.

Vicky - you misunderstood. I love the NEW feature without the arrows, do not put back that was clunky.

See, I don't agree at all -- I much preferred the control of the arrows (it's just like most CAD programs so it's very familiar) but it's just one of those things different people like differently. I preferred the arrows personally but it's not a big deal :)

I really like the control ideamaker has in it, especially the ability to free cut models and even merge models right in the program without needing to go to a separate CAD program. I'm very impressed with ideamaker overall.

Or maybe we can set these two move ways as options for people to choose which they like.

those willing to only move in X or Y (or Z for that matter) direction can just use the numbers on the left to change only one axis , i prefer this click and drag over the arrows only. if they would build in the option to turn it off and on it would be the best of both worlds i guess :)

BUG imho:

when you change a setting in slicer profile advanced settings and then go to the next tab, the settings you just changed revert back to default! The only way to get the changed to stick is click OK on each tab page -> BUT that then throws you out of the advanced settings, back to the beginning of the settings select screen.

Which version are you using? I have just checked ideaMaker on Win10. It works OK. Input a value then move to another tab then back to this tan without pressing Ok. The input value was still there.

I fiddle with my settings all the time and I haven't noticed this problem. Strange!
