If keeping the machine power on for one or two days, will the power of battery raise or not?
If put your mobile as hotspot very close to the machine, can the machine search the signal from that?

Dear Vicky,

After writting to you 2 days ago, I "rollback_0_9_2_1026.raisepack" my N2 Plus.
And, yes, I have let the machine power on for two days. This Sunday morning, the battery power indicate 4.04v.
Note that before that, my battery was full. It is the morning after upgrading to "updater_0_9_7_1509.raisepack",
that the battery has been completely discharged... Strange?

I have no problem with my mobile phone, tablet or camera with my home Wi-Fi.
Before the two last updates, everything was working fine between the Wi-Fi and the machine.
Since the updates, I have to wire the machine on the network with a cable or using a usb stick...

I hope your team will find the problem.

Regards!
Luc

Do you mean after finding the battery and Wi-Fi problem, revert to 0.9.2, the machine back to normal. Upgraded then, the problem came back again?

I did not find why the battery and Wi-Fi has a problem. I mean that when I revert to 0.9.2, yes the machine is back to normal for the battery.
The Wi-Fi was always working since the first day I have got my printer until the Version 0.9.2 Touchscreen Firmware.
And yes, I verified my network and everything is working well.

I did not try again to put back the last Touchscreen Firmware 0.9.7, a second time.

Am I alone with this problem? Could your team find why there is a problem please?

Regards!
Luc

I haven't seen much report about Wi-Fi and Battery's problem related to touchscreen firmware upgrade by now.
Would you like to enter Other tab on screen to check the power of the battery. Whether it changes a lot in short time? Maybe in a few minutes.
For the Wi-Fi problem, it appears no matter with 0.9.2 or 0.9.7 right? Can the screen search any Wi-Fi signal near to the machine now?

Last Sunday, the battery power was at 4.04v . And this Tuesday morning it is at 4.0v. Since these two days I did not open the printer.
I am sure it is not a battery problem, as you can confirm.
So, you have see some report?
When I try to find the Wi-Fi, it does not appear on the screen. ERROR WLAN .
If I try to manually add one, it doesn't work either.

Thanks,
Luc

Actually on my side, I haven't got any report about this. Haven't heard similar report from the others in the team by now.

For the battery, want you to help confirm whether the value of it changes a lot in few minutes. Which indicates the feedback of battery power is not stable.
What kind of Wi-Fi Protected Access you are using? WPA or something else?

I have no problem with the battery. It is stable, in few minutes. 3 days later, it indicate 3.95v.
Wi-Fi Protected Access is WPA2-PSK (AES).

What about disable the Wlan, wait for a few seconds. Then enable and check again?

Not sure about the root cause by now, but should have no relationship to software, or revert to previous version can fix it.
Would you like to shoot a support ticket to us?

Vicky, I saw in this topic : viewtopic.php?f=4&t=5747
That I am not alone with the Wi-Fi problem.

Seems your problem are not the same as theirs, because your screen shows not found, which means the Wi-Fi chip of your screen of out of function which cannot be recognized by board any more.
Please also attach these two pictures into your support ticket.

For the Ethernet connection, I want to ask some more pictures, since the one you shared I cannot check the background very clearly.
Please disable Wi-Fi, reboot the machine. And take a photo of the Ethernet page.
Then open DHCP, then take another photo of the result.
Press Annuler button, then take one more photo of the Ethernet page.
If you have tried static IP connection, please share some pictures of that as well.

Thanks a lot!

Hi Vicky,

Ok I understand.
Here the pictures you have asked. I really hope it will help, because the ethernet or WI-FI are not working anymore.

Luc

Is it possible to get an e-mail-notification(like a newsletter or something) for every new beta- or full software update, that is published through this forum or the main Raise3d website?
I'm not checking this forum frequently and therefore it would help me out to never miss an update...

Did you buy the machine directly from our side? Since currently we don't have a full list of customer contacts on our side, it is not easy for us to reach all the customers by mail, especially the customers bought from resellers' side.
What about facebook and twitter? We will release more news from these two sides, besides forum and website.

Thanks for your pictures. Have you ever tried with net cord directly connecting the screen board and computer with Wlan disabled? Since Wi-Fi chip and Ethernet chip should be separate to each together on board. Two broken at the same time is not such common to see.

It would be nice if Raise3D could improve the "Edit" "Rename" function to support files with "." (dots) in the name, and maybe also to support changing the filename postfix.
Currently the rename function assumes that all characters that comes after the first dot in the name is the filename postfix. That ends up giving quite strange results. Especially because the textbox doesn't display what it thinks is the filename postfix.

No, I did not try that.
Where is the plug to put the net cord directly to the screen board?
Why would it be broken? Because if I roll back the touchscreen firmware, it is working for the direct net cord.

Thanks,
Luc

You mean the Ethernet error only shows with version 0.9.7, but it works well with 0.9.2 without any hardware change?

Currently we define the filename postfix starts from the first dot, we can change it to be from the last dot in future version.
May I ask the purpose why you want to edit the filename postfix? Since the touchscreen only recognizes Gcode and Data file.
