[FEATURE][IM-3.0.4]Temperature Control List format change

Postby AJM » Sat Dec 23, 2017 12:40 pm

Title: Temperature Control List
Description: Change in the format
Version: 3.0.4
Operation System: Windows10
Reason: Easier entry, easier reading, and making more sense

The "Temperature Control List" is a nice feature, but it is not easy to use and a pain to read it easily.

1. The layer should be sorted descending order. That is, highest layer on top and lowest layer on the bottom. The reason is that is how the layer is printed... you know, layer 1 on the bottom. It is easier to visualize the temperature change in that order.

2. Why use separate tabs for "Cooling" and "Temperature"??? Fan speed is not the same thing, but that is what controls temperature and thus related. It is easier to have less tabs and more related control in the same tab with the "Temperature". You have enough screen real estate to display them all together.

3. Why use separate tabs for "Heated Bed" and "Primary Extruder"??? Having to click different tabs to enter and display is crazy. You can't see the whole thing without having to click each tab. Please show them in one table. It would even be better to have "Temperature" tab show one table with multiple columns like the image in the attached file.

4. Instead of using "Add Temperature" and "Remove Temperature" buttons, why not just provide an empty spreadsheet-like table?
It would be easier and quicker to enter the values. The rows can be automatically sorted in sequence as the layer number is entered.
