IdeaMaker on Prusa i3

Postby TVESP » Thu Mar 23, 2017 10:27 pm

I have used the IdeaMaker on an N2 plus and would like to use it on my HICTOP Prusa i3 (3DP-12) as well. What steps would I need to complete in order to do this?

I use it for my Wanhao Duplicator i3 .. works fine. Create a new printer, make the bed the right size, select the PLA 1.75 default setting instead of the PLA 1.75 V2 Hotend that you use for the raise. Same for ABS if you use ABS. The rest dont have a V2 Hotend so no worries. You'll want to first export one of your default slicing profiles to the desktop and then import it to the new printer/filament.

Thenm slice and print. works fine for me.

I seem to have it working okay. Thanks for your help!
