on Scale or Rotate model height set to platform

Ideamaker is very difficult to use with dual color prints because it is so clumsy maneuvering the objects. For example, if you hav the object almost perfectly in place and have to rotate it a degree it will then delet all your hard work setting Z and place it back on the platform. Same with scale. Very difficult.

How about merge the two parts of your model to be one after alignment?
Then do position adjusting.
After that ungroup your model and set printing nozzle for different parts.

grouping is not the problem. I have a vase with a cutout of a flower as one object, I import the flower and need to place it in the hole at the proper depth. THis is very difficult to do with ideamaker.

Are the vase and flowers built together?
If so, you can try the Align Together function.
