Just got a Raise Pro2 and just got the first print running. It is working well on the left nozzle but I had to manually turn off the Right nozzle. I use Simplify3d and I used the preset profile and turned everything to zero for the right nozzle.
When the machine starts up "both" nozzles and the heatbed start cranking up. thanks.

The reason why we have the printer heat up both nozzles before printing is because that the printer doesn't know which nozzle is currently enabled to be dropped down before print starts. So the printer will switch the nozzles, which will lift the nozzle up. If there has filament loaded inside the nozzle which is going to lift up, not softening the filament with heat provided first may do harm to the nozzle and other components related.
