Bug IM 3.3.0.2343 - deactivating the retraction

Postby M_P » Fri Nov 09, 2018 5:28 pm

I point out that in the new version 3.3.0.2343, by deactivating the retraction, the printing speed becomes very slow, while in the old v.3.1.7.1850 there was not this problem

Did you update your motion board and touchscreen firmware at the same time if your printer is a Pro2?

Strange, I thought it was solved the problem with the update, since the first layers made them fast, then came back very slow

The problem is in the generated gcode.
As can be seen when the retraction is disabled by the 5 layer the G0 F1200 command is no longer given, so it keeps the Z speed

Yes, ok.
Very interesting the new option - Combine infill Layer
It would be very useful to have the option - Concentric - in Infill Pattern Type

If you want to have concentric infill, add extra shell should can help.

Yes, I can also put 100% infill density instead of 99% so I only use solid shell, but then I can not use the - Combine infill Layer - option to save time

I see your point, so that's the reason why you are asking Concentric infill. That make sense.
