Cool down inactive extruder not working

Postby GQQSER » Mon Nov 05, 2018 2:27 pm

I installed the latest update of ideamaker and I am attempting to use one of the new features which allows the user to to turn the heat off on the inactive extruder to stop oozing of a different color during printing.
It doessn't appear to be working. I set the temp to 80c for inactive cooling temp and uploaded part. During the printing process the temperature of the inactive extruder is the same as if I hadn't set anything.

Any advice?

Check when you have extruder switch... this should work this way. But I didn't check it yet...

Whether your model is printing with one nozzle or two nozzles?
Is that the inactive nozzle doesn't cool down initially when the other nozzle starts printing? Actually the cooling starts after the first jog. So before that, both nozzles will keep the set values.
Is that the issue you are currently facing with?
