I have the same problem, ever and ever ...
I created a printer with 0.8 nozzle, and when I select it all of my templates disappear.
Where are they?

(Also, when do you think about the scrolling list problem on mac?)

We haven't met before. Would you like to share a screenshot?
Is that only the new ideaMaker have such problem or all versions of ideaMaker have the same problem on your computer?

All the default templates are established based on the default printer types and filament types which are aleady inside ideaMaker. If you create a new printer type, there is no corresponding template for it in ideaMaker. You need to import a template and edit it yourself for this new printer type.

when I export them for import in the new printer type, ideamaker says me that the template already exist...

I am sorry but your system isn't logical.

Are we using the same steps?

Or if you change the template name to be some other characters, will it help?

You need to change the middle N2 to be the printer you are using. Like 0.8-N2 or new printer or something else. Or it will have the same name as the one you just export and they are saved in same folder in your computer.

Usually, happens the first time I start ideaMaker. Seems if you go very quickly, it will happen as well...

Should be some problems with your operating system.
The system doesn't flash the coordinate as quick as you move.

The raft generation seems to be different in 2.3 than previous versions of Ideamaker. I have a model that has large holes in the middle, and Ideamaker 2.2.x would generate a raft where the model touched the bed only. However, in 2.3, it creates a raft that fills the entire area that the model takes on the bed (see screenshot), which uses a lot of material and can make extraction difficult.

Is this intended behavior? Can I turn it off so that it only creates the raft underneath the model? I didn't see an option for it.
On a related note, is there a location that I can download previous versions of Ideamaker?

We have received some customers' feedback that the raft with irregular shape will cause some overlapped lines on the top layer of the raft. Because due to the irregular shape of the model its self, the raft will be divided to be different sections to print. Some print first some print later. The border part of the sections before and after will always have a overlapped line. So we make the raft to be a big one-part with holes inside this time to avoid such problem.
We may consider to open an option for customer to choose whether they like the one-part or irregular shape in next version.
If you want to use previous version, you may can find installation files of them in your computer, if you didn't delete them before.

I'm not sure how to test for this but I think ideamaker may have a memory leak. when i have left it running for long periods of time, my computer will run out of memory.

Since the software includes undo and redo function, so that the software needs to record history. If the model is real big or there are a lot models being open (or have been pened) in ideaMaker, it will occupy a lot memory. So if you open ideaMaker for a long time, or have used it with few projects, please close the program and open a new window to clean up memory.

This never happened prior to 2.3.0, might want to check with the software guys if they updated a library or something like that.

I have just checked with our software engineer. They said that they haven't changed things like that.
