Extruding Noise

Postby wo4sunhao » Tue Jun 26, 2018 8:38 pm

The extruder makes some noise when it is printing. I checked the nozzle distance between printing bed, feed gear and print result. Everything looks fine but just can not figure out why it makes noise. I can not attach a video here, so I just share a link from my google drive.

Does it have similar noise during Loading when the printer is idle?
Or what about not inserting any filament inside, but run a print directly? Can you hear the similar noise?

So the extruder is quiet when it is loading filament, I tried to load a long filament and here is no noise. The noise most likely happen when the printer is printing a solid surface.

Does the noise only appear at some sections on bed or it happens all over the bed?
If continue printing, will noise go after the first several layers and the extrusion is still good?

It happens all over the bed and most times once the noise happen it will continue till the print finish.

Which filament you are having trouble with? Or the issue happens no matter which type of filament you print?
Have you tried with filament guiding tube or not?

I did not try different type of filament yet. I may try some different material to do a test. The filament I'm using right now is PLA.
