Your favorite PLA Brand

Since orb is no longer and I get mixed reviews for hatchbox what other brands does everyone suggest? Something I can purchase on amazon would be cool.

I tried my first roll of eSun PLA+ and really like it. Prints well at 215 and a 60 bed on our N2+.
I got mine locally at Fry's but it's available at Amazon too.

Finish is nice.

Yes, any issue with it binding in the spool at all, is it wound cleanly ?

Ingeo 3D850 and Ingeo 3D870 based PLA, available from different brands.
3D850 is general purpose and very easy printable, 3D870 is not exactly so smooth to print but very stiff (more than ABS) - I'm using it mostly for mechanical parts.
I'm buying it in this shop: https://www.hta3d.com/en/filament/pla-1.75mm

Never had tangling issues at all from any mfr of filament.
I've err'd and let the darn filament roll under itself once or twice, but that's on me.

Here is a print, on one of my favorite printers, running Inland PLA. Its a fan shroud for a Large RC hovercraft :D Image

I primarily use 3 brands or types of filament:
#1 Raise 3d Premium PLA has been a very good filament and I've used well over 40 rolls of it.
#2 MakerGeek's Raptor filament is my go to PLA for parts that need strength and toughness. That said, it's not all roses, I have had it jam from oversized filament bulges from manufacturing defects in rolls of filament. Most of the time good, but again, something that can and has happened.
#3 My new favorite is these "silk" type filaments. I bought some really cheap stuff on Amazon https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B074QH19BC and also, then the best color is from here https://printedsolid.com/products/polya ... 2061142101 the Merlot color is just so amazing. What I find also amazing is how well it prints and how tough this filament is compared to any other PLA. Given the price of the cheap stuff, I'm considering it for mechanical parts I might use with Raptor in the past. I don't know how well it takes heat (like a part sitting in the sun in a hot car), but it's some of the best filament to date for toughness (dropping, smashing, bending) I have ever seen.

Thanks folks...great info. I’m tying both Inland and Esun. I need to print in grey and Hatchbox has bad reviews with the grey color.
