Wrong Date and Time

Postby stevetriple » Tue May 08, 2018 5:00 pm

Hi, anyone knows how to change the date and time of the machine? When I slice something and send it to the Raise N2 the date and time are completely wrong...

Have you set correct Date and Time under Other tab?

Have you connected your printer to network via WLAN or Wi-Fi?

Would you like to export a serial log and share with me? It is under Setting -> More Settings.

Yes, but your firmware version seems a little out of date.
Would you like to update your touchscreen firmware to the latest version and export the log to us again?

Yes, check periodically the download page for updates for all 3 major products.
Ideamaker version
Raisetouch versions (LCD update on the printer)
Motion control firmware (Marlin)

Ok I've done it and it seems to be fixed, but after this upgrade when the printer stops printing the build plate lower too much and it's a waste of time. How can I fix this?

And could get annoying if pressed for time.

Do you mean that after print stops, the bed just stop at the stopped height but not home to origin height before the next print?

No ma'am. The Bed does not stop at the stopped height, the bed moves down to about the middle of the available Z. Almost as if it were intended to offer our hands more room to remove the model from the bed.

In the current the Z drop after print complete is down to 100mm (if the final height is already over 100mm, the bed will stay at the final height), the previous version was 20mm. The increased height is for providing enough space to remove the model.
We will open this option in future versions for customer to settings how much they want the bed to move in the end.

One option is to roll back to 0.9.7, the last firmware update that likely fixes your time stamp issue, but then also does invoke the new bed lowering feature as seen in 0.9.9. Given that 0.9.9 now lets you point at a specific update file and update, I'm not sure if that makes it easier, but something i would consider trying.
Otherwise, the "fix" is to wait for the next update- which I just bugged them about. viewtopic.php?f=3&p=31729#p31729

We are going to open an option for customer to set the drop down height when print stops in next version.
