I'll have to take it apart again. I modified the part by putting some thread inserts into it so the screws have something to hold onto.

the part is a square box with some holes to screw the endstop board into the shim. It has offset holes to screw the endstop board onto the back.

now that I am thinking about it. my issue is the endstop is not getting hit. I have been trying to figure out how this was corrected. the shim you posted may fix that issue but I still need the new endstops I already ordered. I'll need to get longer screws as well.

Sounds like very similar to the one I shared. The one I shared may be a little thicker than the one on yours. May help you problem.

got my bed level and got this printed. bought some M3 x 16 screws and got it installed. it is now homing correctly.
