Getting good results with Hatchbox and the V1 hot end.

Thoughts about Raise3D, 3D printing and making in general.

I've got the v2, but I'm not in a huge rush to install it at the moment.

Nice! Can you post your settings? I have a few spools that I can try to use...

I would also be curious to know your settings. I tried the white Hatchbox PLA a while back on my V1 and didn't have much success.

Sorry all, had a job change, a baby, and a move all right after this - hence the radio silence.

The stl can be found here: http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:1458545

I don't recall my settings - Probably either .2 or .3 layer height since the intention was to hit it with XTC-3D. Temps were in the 210-215 range. Took 30ish hours to print.

Re: the white hatchbox PLA - I think it's terrible. I've tried it with both the v1 and v2 hotends and can only get "OK" results.

I know! That's, eventually, the plan for finishing the piece. I'm also working on a rig to light up the eyes and get it to breathe smoke. By working on it, I mean I'm thinking about it occasionally while working on either other projects.
