Pro 2 out of filament mid print

We had a print over the weekend run out of filament. The machine recognized this stopped and moved to home. However, we cannot resume the print. It is no longer loaded on the info screen of the printer itself either. Are we missing a setting to be able to resume the print? Does the memory of where it stopped only last so long? It is unfortunate it appears we need to restart this print.

Would you like to advise what message shows on touchscreen after you completed re-load the filament back to printer?
There should have no limitation of the print resume for storage space or time. Even you power off the printer, the print status should be saved into touchscreen.
If you don't remember all the details clearly, would you mind run a test print and cut the filament off during the printing and record what happens then?
