Print Fail on Brand New Pro2 Plus

Postby Tony » Mon Jul 30, 2018 11:43 pm

Novice skills- Last three prints fail using auto supports and adding more where I thought needed.
.
Extruder bashes into part knocking it off the supports. Then position is also ruined because of crash causing subsequent PLA additions to be completely off alignment. Has the belt skipped a tooth or two?
...
Using supplied filament. Standard settings.
...
I realize there are many variables to making this happen according to plan but some general help would be most appreciated after plopping down 6.5k for this machine.
..
Add more supports to prevent the part from becoming a free agent?
....
Supports being key to keeping everything where it's supposed to be?
Thanks in advance!

Please double confirm whether your nozzles are too close to the build surface.
And whether your nozzle jogging works properly on your printer or not.

To strengthen the support structure, add more can help or you can try solid base.
