Hey Zettlinger, what are you printing as your torture tests? Mine should be on its way pretty soon.

Haha, it seems like you have waited a long time for your printer. Doing all the tests at the same time! :) What filament do you use?

Should have put a brim, another piece is letting go off the bed, so far mostly the tiny parts. Bigger parts are doing great so far.

I think you should up the bed temp to 50C and clean the buildtak with some alcohol.

Next print i will raise the bed temp a bit, a bit over 3 hrs to go on this one. the smallest pin got off the bed too and is now malformed.
Also see nozzle strikes on the pins, one corner came up a bit and it makes the 2nd nozzle hit it. luckily its thin so just bends out of the way
Going to add the next photos etc in a new thread to not clog this one up :)

Hello everyone,

I'm new to 3D printing but wanted to introduce myself. I hope to pick a lot of your brains about how this all works.
My name is Alex and I'm in California. I got my N2 a few weeks ago but I'm only now printing my first test...the 20mm block that came on the thumbdrive...exciting. So far, it's working right out of the box!

Thanks
AWhang

Welcome all :) Keep sharing what works and doesn't work so we can all learn more about this machine and what it can do

Marvin is looking a little rough but its my very first print ever and I don't know what I'm doing -- lots to learn, lol.

Not at all bad for your first print... but all it takes is one and now you are addicted!

Got my N2 yesterday. How do I tell if it came with the V2 hotend?

I researched it a bit and mine has seven fins on the hotend and I think the V1 only has 6 fins, so it looks like I have the V2 hotend.

Yes, that is biggest difference between V1 and V2, 6 or 7 fins on heat sink.
Actually newly made machines should all be V2. We have upgraded V2 early last year.
