[BUG] unable to import gcode file to raise cloud

Postby A_Bob » Mon Sep 10, 2018 4:07 pm

The following gcode file created from Simplify 3D fails to upload to raise cloud.
110493B x 2.zip
(2.91 MiB) Downloaded 18 times

The reason I am using Simplify 3D and not Ideamaker is Simplify 3D is better at not traveling through holes and supports nozzle wipe. With this specific part it is crucial not to have any stringing inside the center hole which I could not accomplish with Ideamaker.

Hmm, correction, the upload screen completed, but the file is not showing up?? Checked in all folders and it uplioads and then poof is nowhere to be found????

File nowhere to be found

I even tried changing the name thinking starting with numbers rather than letters can be a limitation of some file systems and same results.

We have fixed it. You can upload Gcode file now.
But RaiseCloud does not support Gcode file created by Simplified3D.
We will try to figure out a solution for this.

Importing gcode is now working but I am having a strange issue with one of them. The gcode file is ~180MB in size.

I started the upload and left my computer for a few minutes. When I returned I clicked the complete button and I had over 30 copies of the file under My Files.

The 180MB file I am having trouble with can be downloaded here: https://1drv.ms/u/s!Ar84BSzOI7ZdjeVeeM9wwJnVQwvGtg

Thanks for your files!
We have debugged some issues related to this. Please try one more time to see whether it works now or not.

It still seems to be duplicating the file. It may be because I am leaving the upload window open for a while after I start the upload of the file. The progress indicator never turns blue as it does with smaller files. BTW I am using Google Chrome as my browser when uploading.

It looks like the issue has been fixed. The Javascript was cached by my browser after it was fixed, I had to enter development mode and force an empty cache and hard reload to get it to work.
