filament stuck on right tube

Postby jcmoon » Mon Sep 10, 2018 5:53 pm

After I finished printing the black PC filament on left nozzle, then I changed to the right nozzle with the white PLA filament for a new print. After I noticed the PLA can't come out the nozzle I tried to unload it, the filament came to the very top then stuck, I can't pull it out nor push in, please help.

Can the filament go downward now or stuck as well? May have some expansion on tip.

I pull it really hard, and it's out. Everything works now.

Everything else above nozzle are all clear to pass through? Are you able to remove the nozzle or not?

Use the cleaning rod to check where filament stuck... then use the guide from Vicky what to do in PDF file. It works for me. Remove upper sensor if you suspect upper part and open read side of extruder gears cover - adjustment screw with spring.

For the Jam Removal guide, please reach to our technicians from http://help.raise3d.com.
For the tension of the bolt, it really depends on filament type and brand. As long as the extrusion is smooth and no abnormal clicking noise from extruder, it should be good enough.
