Custom G Code parameters

Postby jbernardis » Wed Aug 02, 2017 1:12 am

I would like to parameterize the custom G Code rather than hard-code values such as the bed temperature, etc. I see you have the basic capability because I can see you using things such as {travel speed} in the custom code you provide. However, I don't see anywhere that there is an enumeration of the possible variable names. Does such a thing exist, or can you provide one.

BTW - a very nice slicer based on initial impressions.

One shortcoming in my eyes: I don't like to see all of the parameters lumped together into a single profile; I think that printer parameters should be separate from filament parameters, for example.

But it's always nice to see another player contribute to this community.

Thank you

Placeholders we have by now in ideaMaker:
{travel_speed} : X/Y Axis Movement Speed
{print_speed}: Default Printing Speed
{retraction_speed} : Retraction Speed
{retraction_dual_amount} : Retraction Amount of Extruder-switch

I have also found, by examining the executable in a hex editor, that you support the following:
{filament_diameter}
{filament_diameter2}
{print_temperature}
{print_temperature2}
{print_bed_temperature}

I'm looking for the profile name, but haven't found it yet

These are under testing, haven't completed to use by now.
We will release more in near future.
