Re: N2 Touchscreen not reacting to touch on it's left side

FYI, the LCD used is http://store.linksprite.com/1024x600-7-lvds-lcd-with-capacitive-touch-for-pcduino3/ The only difference is as supplied, the wide JST style wire slides over the standard header pins VS being a socket Again, this picture is the above linked screen direct from linksprite pcduino3_l...

Re: PRO2 Timelapse results?

Thank you Jetguy, i was able to login in but i have no clue what cmd to get into the video folder and how to download that file to my windows PC. They really need to make this easier so we can find the printer in our network and connect to it via windows explorer to download the files, or even expo...

Re: PRO2 Timelapse results?

Also, you aren't wrong for complaining, please don't take anything I have typed as saying the release notes cover everything, or that features are covered in some manual. Let's be honest, this is evolving monthly. Just 6 months ago, features like the camera only existed in a closed beta to a few and...

Re: PRO2 Timelapse results?

i tried logging in with Putty but its asking for a password, so what is it ? The SSH password. So, look under security settings on the screen because unless you set one, it is purposely a random unique password for every printer for security. If you set a password, then it's that password. Read the...

Re: Pro 2 Plus extruder jams.

Again, see this thread for a shot of the Pro2 series mainboard, the extruder steppers are still onboard. According to the picture, I do not see potentiometer adjusters nearby so they might be firmware controlled current setting. http://forum.raise3d.com/viewtopic.php?f=2&t=8460 eb37900301de8b18....

Re: Pro 2 Plus extruder jams.

Ultimately raise3d needs to fix this for you if the vref is set too high. it requires a firmware update to the controller board. I'm not sure about that. The Pro2 uses off the board drivers as shown here: http://forum.raise3d.com/viewtopic.php?f=2&t=8460&p=31011&hilit=pro2#p30980. The d...

Re: Thermal Runaway Error During Filament Load

Again, just the facts: You have a 2.5 year old machine. All that time, all those prints, millions of times of flexing the ribbon cable. You got the error when using load filament, which also commands a preheat to a set temp (default 215C) and wait for that temp to be reached. That would indicate one...

Re: Thermal Runaway Error During Filament Load

You cannot know until you properly install the thermal protector. That's the entire point, without it, you cannot detect certain error and thus troubleshoot blind. If you install it, and it then throws a maxtemp error- that then guarantees you have a cable fault- something that cannot be detected st...

Re: Pro Upgrade Kit

So bumping this again, it's now July and not a single word on upgrade kits, the electronics, the moving head design.
At least offer the basic parts (extruder moving nozzle mechanism, the electronics package, heated bed package).

Re: Berd-air print quality issue

Also, there is a difference in the install and path here. On mine, I come in from the side and minimize the tubing contact to the heater block. Since the heater block is a rectangle, there is a long side and a short side. So again my path and bend has minimal contact length from the side of the bloc...

Re: Berd-air print quality issue

Again, this is a bone simple pistonless compressor system. Nothing more than a wobble plate and multi molded rubber compressing diaphrams. It has one basic moving part (the wobble plate). Like any compressor, yes, compression does warm the air- warm being the operative word- not hot. Certainly not h...

Re: Berd-air print quality issue

I don't know much about the Berd system, but is it possible that the pump itself is overheating and producing hot air to begin with? If so, that could be why your quality got worse when you decrease the length of your tubing. No, it doesn't work like that. Yes, you could overheat the motor, yes you...

Re: Berd-air print quality issue

1) Does the Berd-Air pump need active cooling (a fan blowing at the motor)? 2) Can the HE2 connector run two Berd-Air pumps (if I get a second for the secondary extruder)? I would recommend either active or passive cooling. Active- add a fan in parallel to the motor to blow at the motor and pump in...

Now you can see how it's installed from the front. IMG_0634.JPG Then from the side IMG_0631.JPG And last showing the complete and very lightweight single extruder setup. IMG_0636.JPG I'm still mod process of trying to figure out mounting of the airpump but likely to use the box method and TPU 3D pri...

Re: Berd-air print quality issue

So here is my install mid process for a single extruder variant. It sadly required a minor mod to the Bondtech, but the result and fit and finish is worth it IMO. So I used a large nylon spacer from the local hardware store, and a small spring to pull up on the tube and allow nozzle changes and othe...

Re: Berd-air print quality issue

Again, looking at your picture, is clear to me the left side aluminum tube is definitely in contact with the heater block. The right hand side is bend at a non flat angle and has limited contact, but still contact. the Y splitter is no guarantee the cooling rings get the same air flow as bends, and ...

Re: Berd-air print quality issue

Well that's the problem. #1 you are proving one air pump per nozzle is required and you cannot just Y split #2 You are also proving that no, you need a silicone sock, you are literally heating the very air you are trying to cool with. It can and does work with a silicone sock, I don't understand why...
