Printing time difference / different slicer

Hi everyone, my question is this: why there are so many printing time differences between S3D and Ideamaker? I love IM, but is it possible that Simplify says 1h30m and IM 3h27m of printing time??? How is this possible with the same layer height, infill, speed and so on?
I'm a bit confused :?

Re: Contemporary heating build plate/nozzle

AFAIK they do both heat at the same time by default. What is confusing is that the display is not updated during the process. So the displayed temperature of the bed will look like it is not heating, but as soon as the extruder hits temp it will be updated and you'll see that it's already been heat...

Re: Contemporary heating build plate/nozzle

I pulled up the end script in my IdeaMaker. It looks like this: M104 S0 M140 S0 G91 G1 E-1 F300 G1 Z+0.5 E-5 X-20 Y-20 F9000.00 G28 X0 Y0 M84 G90 here is a reference for GCODE: http://reprap.org/wiki/G-code the first command is M104. http://reprap.org/wiki/G-code#M104:_Set_Extruder_Temperature You ...

When you have to print more pieces as possible, ten minutes is a waste of time

Re: Contemporary heating build plate/nozzle

Thank you for the answer. I have a 3d lab and 2 Raise3D in it. I use S3D and if the printer has the possibility to heat up both build plate and nozzle it would be better for me...

Contemporary heating build plate/nozzle

Hi everyone, is it possible to heat the build plate and the nozzle at the same time? When I start a print it heat the nozzle and then the build plate, wasting a lot of time, and to prevent this I manually heat the plate and the nozzle (with LCD) before sending the print.... but it's a nonsense. Thanks

Why do the printer shut down if the battery is 100% full?

Hi everyone, my question is simple: why the printer shut down when there's a power outage if there's a battery inside (and fully charged)?
Thank you

Print stop with apparently no reason

Hi everyone, I'm trying to print a small object in white PLA but for the second time in a day the printer stops printing and stands there without moving... I tried S3D and IdeaMaker, both failed. HELP!

Re: Dual extrusion Simplify3D

Ok, thank you all for the answer. My issue is simple but mindblowing: I have a R3D DUAL Extruder and if I use ideamaker for double extrusion all works fine, with S3D no. I'll post the picture of settings as soon as possible. Before you ask Yes, I could use ideamaker, but it is too much slower instea...

Dual extrusion Simplify3D

Hi everyone, a simple question: why I'm unable to print with dual extruder if I slice (all properly) with Simplify3d? The printer prints always with the left extruder, even if I'm saying to use right extruder for an object and left for the other...
