Re: Built in webcam server working on my new N2
the camera software for the raisetouch is there. I played with it using a modded xbox live camera and the software ran, as it was not configured properly it didn't show on the printer. likely the printer is looking for a spot and it need to be directed there and the camera app needs to be added to t...

Re: Thermal-Protector - available soon to all
found my reply back to my request on feb 27, nothing seen or heard since.
kinda makes me sad since it was my printer that exposed this issue.

Re: Just Released N2 Pro
Honestly, I have the N2 and with the upgrades I have on it now, I wish it was an N2+. I have lost build height due to bed and extruder upgrades that have improved the quality of my printer significantly. I can't say the upgrades will work for everyone though. I could see that an N2 could be in theor...

from what I know of the system, I'm questioning if it is even able to run the camera.

Re: Raise3D Fan Duct Pro2 Plus
my next design was going that direction with forward cold end cooling. I don't think that exact design will be compatible with the older printers though. I've always kind of seen it as an issue to blow the air in from the sides as it creates a wall of force in the model and now the heat just sits th...

I'd hate to see the cost to retrofit the old ones. you are likely looking at a couple grand to do it.

Re: Octoprint and hacking the touch screen?
There is octoprint on the touchscreen however it is an older version and can not be updated. (I have tried). I openned a support ticket but it has become stall and forgotten at this point. Until i have my side project done, I don't feel comfortable trying to get it fixed which would likely require m...

Re: N1 Fan Mods
There are features to turn on the cold end fans when it is heating but we would need to know the pinout of those fans, if they are connected to the processor or not.

Re: E3D v6 Adaptor
I have a really good setup with my current design but it only works with the volcano. I ordered 40mm x 40mm x 20 mm blower fan to redesign it. I am hoping that it will allow me to create a unit that can cool both hotends.

Re: LIN_ADVANCE = better extrusion control
the lack material code I modified from raises version is controllable via gcode. both turn it off or on and to change the PIN readings. the difference between this version and the marlin 1.1.0 version is that it now uses the endstop gcodes versus a custom gcode. M119 will report status, M120 turns t...

I see I can change it now to higher amounts. when I dupilicated the printer, it was limited 1.0 mm max however.

Re: Shifting Forward and Backwards.
There is no way to upgrade the Marlin board. It is a custom RUMBA type board that used a custom remote extruder board. No other board on the market is compatible with that remote extruder board. and I did try. Raise3D would have to design a new drop in board with a 32 bit processor on it. Which is l...

Re: MID PRINT FILAMENT LOADING
with the updated firmware on the motion controller. the filament runout sensor will detect that the printer is running out of filament. It sends a single to the touchscreen to pause the print. The touchscreen also knows it was paused by this process. Whenever you pause or stop the printer. it has to...

Re: LIN_ADVANCE = better extrusion control
If you have a single extruder. That could also be causing an issue due to the expected format not outputting for the hotends. the firmware won't display the T0: current temp / target temp line. I need to fix that. Do you have a single extruder?

Re: LIN_ADVANCE = better extrusion control
My original fork was released around a year ago. The new one is updated to function with the procedures of marlin. M190 is not 100% the same and I think M109 adds the D stamp at the end of the output. M105 outputs the same. M190 outputs the same starting calls then outputs the M105 calls after that....

Re: the version of github contains errors
the other possibility is that the 1.1.6-rev1 is actually 1.1.6-rev2 (lack of material firmware). You would need to have a filament runout sensor on it and see if it works. That firmware does not have the ability to turn on or off the sensor or change it from open or closed pin reading. if it is that...
