Re: LIN_ADVANCE = better extrusion control

the lack material code I modified from raises version is controllable via gcode. both turn it off or on and to change the PIN readings. the difference between this version and the marlin 1.1.0 version is that it now uses the endstop gcodes versus a custom gcode. M119 will report status, M120 turns t...

Re: Shifting Forward and Backwards.

There is no way to upgrade the Marlin board. It is a custom RUMBA type board that used a custom remote extruder board. No other board on the market is compatible with that remote extruder board. and I did try. Raise3D would have to design a new drop in board with a 32 bit processor on it. Which is l...

with the updated firmware on the motion controller. the filament runout sensor will detect that the printer is running out of filament. It sends a single to the touchscreen to pause the print. The touchscreen also knows it was paused by this process. Whenever you pause or stop the printer. it has to...

Re: LIN_ADVANCE = better extrusion control

If you have a single extruder. That could also be causing an issue due to the expected format not outputting for the hotends. the firmware won't display the T0: current temp / target temp line. I need to fix that. Do you have a single extruder?

Re: LIN_ADVANCE = better extrusion control

My original fork was released around a year ago. The new one is updated to function with the procedures of marlin. M190 is not 100% the same and I think M109 adds the D stamp at the end of the output. M105 outputs the same. M190 outputs the same starting calls then outputs the M105 calls after that....

Re: the version of github contains errors

the other possibility is that the 1.1.6-rev1 is actually 1.1.6-rev2 (lack of material firmware). You would need to have a filament runout sensor on it and see if it works. That firmware does not have the ability to turn on or off the sensor or change it from open or closed pin reading. if it is that...

Re: cause of slipping filament

I would think, if you replace the drive gears with the ones Jetguy suggests, you should align the motor with the new gears. another simple inexpensive "mod" I have seen people do is install washers to cant the extruder motor slightly for a better grip as well. personally, i got seriously f...

I'm not sure it is giving an error message. The file just was not there. I started moving them from the place I was saving it. I'll have to try and repeat to lock down the issue.

working on the raisetouch Pull Request finally. when I finally got my printer back up last summer after I blew it up. I found that triangles in the corners works best. you actually don't want the pad below the print if you can help it.

what did you set for your slow and fast speed tests? did you leave them at 20 and 70? I'm guessing you want to calibrate that script to the printer.
