I agree, it's being used too much as an easy explanation (without foundation).

Re: USING WIRELESS CAPABILITY VIA SIMPLIFY3D

In theory you could use a script to upload the gcode with scp. Not sure if there would be a way to have Simplify call this.

I'd really love to get some discrete downward fans on my N2+ Dual.

Re: Instruction to swap in V2 hot end (With modified firmware)

Has anyone gotten the firmware to automatically update from the USB drive? Both my friend and I have tried and it doesn't do anything. (N2+).

Re: Any suggestions on how to remove the stripped grub screws from hotend?

I had this same problem on another printer (with the extruder gear's grub screw). I found a drill bit small enough to drill out the grub, but not damage the threads.

That is an awesome design! Are you going to put it up on Thingiverse?

FWIW, if you've spent any amount of time reading Julia's posts you'll realize that she's not one to start a flame war. She's just calling you out on the tone of your post.

(and I think Buildtak sucks)

Yeah, I have this issue and posted about it on Friday. You documented it much better than I did though. :D It didn't occur to me that I'd have to move the bed, but that makes sense (albeit annoying).

Re: Can't use full build volume of the N2+

I think the problem lies within the fact that in ideaMaker when max the build volume and the part is centered, that that center doesn't translate to the printer. The printers "center" is offset to the left.

Re: Print Failed... Offset 2" to the left??

I did find that I raised the XY travel speed on mine and it was causing a lot of shifts (to the right though) where it would pull the extruder when moving from right to left (because the filament was short). I have some tubing now to prevent this being an issue (but slowing it down helped too).

Can't use full build volume of the N2+

Hey guys, trying to print something that takes up the whole build volume (x and y) and I'm running into trouble. Center in ideaMaker is not centered on the printer, which causes the printer to print weirdly where it runs into the min X. See these pics (not sure why the uploaded upside down): This sh...

Re: 3rd Party Filament Trials and Tribulations

Andy, I agree the V2 should be a "fix" and not an "upgrade". However, I'm comfortable with what I paid for the printer +$100 for 2 new hotends (and still think it was a good deal).
