Jam above the extruder gears

Hello all, The saga of trying to get my Pro2 to work continues. I've got a jam above the gears in the extruder, the filamanet got stuck trying to pull it back through somewhere inside the run out sensor it seems and unfortunately the filament snapped off right at the top as I was trying to get it ou...

Odd Print Failures Pro2

Hi guys, I'm all of a sudden running into printing issues with my Pro2, no idea what could be causing them. I've had several long prints fail on me with settings that have worked in the past, I've attached an image of the most recent failure. IMG_0940.JPG Honestly can't tell if there is nozzle drag ...

Raft Issues

Hello all, I've noticed something strange happening with my printer as it's making the raft and wondered if there had been a firmware update or something. After completing the outer edges of the raft it's returning the left most edge and printing directly on top of it 3 times. This is obviously not ...

Re: Zeroing Error

Hi Brandon,

Thanks for your response, yes it was the Endstop limit switch. It had somehow been bent out of position, forced up against the belt.

I've bent it back and everything seems to be working for now.

Cheers

Zeroing Error

Hello all, I'm having a very serious problem with my Raise 3D N2 Plus. When I hit home on the X-Y axis control, instead of the print head moving into the front left hand corner, it just moves over to the right hand side and then back a tiny amount. If I tell it to come towards the door it does nothi...

Re: Raft Adhesion Issues

Hello, just thought I'd update the thread in case anyone else was looking for similar help! First off thanks walshlg for your help. After checking the nozzle heights again, they were a little on the high side. Copy paper or a thin business card in my case seemed to do the trick. I also reduced the f...

Re: Raft Adhesion Issues

Alright, the z-height was set initially with the 0.2mm feeler gauge. I've gone into my slicer settings to check the first layer height which is also 0.2mm. I'll try lowering that to see what effect it has.

Re: Raft Adhesion Issues

Hi guys, sorry for delay in getting back. Have been off work so haven't had access to the printer. I've got a few pictures of the initial curling that seems to keep happening. http://imageshack.com/a/img922/5391/4AnDPR.jpg http://imageshack.com/a/img922/4710/6oTv9j.jpg http://imageshack.com/a/img922...

Re: Raft Adhesion Issues

Thanks for the responses. The distance between the nozzles and the build plate was set with the 0.2mm feeler gauge supplied with the printer. Bed temperature is set at 60C. I'm hoping it's not the Buildtak that's the issue as I've only printed a handful of small models so far. I've done a couple of ...

Raft Adhesion Issues

Hello Everyone, new Raise3D user here hoping to get some advice. I've just recently got started with my N2 plus and have noticed a constant issue with the raft initially sticking to the buildtak. It only seems to be the first 5mm or so but the PLA just curls up instead of sticking to the build plate...
