Re: N2 plus not a great experience before even printing
This is why I pushed the second nozzle out of the way and I'm planning to remove it altogether (with the motor and hot end) to save on weight.

Re: N2 plus not a great experience before even printing
Jet, you're absolutely right. It's my fault the machine arrived all scratched up with oil stains and fingerprints all over the acrylic. Also it's wrong of me to complain about the bent doors, because after all that's well within tolerances. Sorry about the fact that second nozzle, no matter how many...

Re: N2 plus not a great experience before even printing
Wolfman, Can you send me a PM of who your reseller is? I would like to look into this for you. My supplier was MatterPhorm. I decided to keep the machine and disable the second extruder/nozzle. They promised to refund me for the second extruder upgrade (which I paid $200 extra for) but I have yet t...

Re: Dual Extruder with Autolifting Nozzles
Looks like they sell just the hotends too that are compatible with existing extruders and can also auto lift!

Dual Extruder with Autolifting Nozzles
Will this work with the N2 plus?
http://www.dglass3d.com/products/hpx2max/
It has autolifiting dual nozzles, and one motor. It can prevent the second nozzle from knocking down or damaging the print during material prints.

Re: Print keeps failing; Please help!
I would guess the second nozzle strikes the model and causes that shift?

Re: N2 plus not a great experience before even printing
To be honest, I decided to keep my n2. Why? Because although there are issues, like the quality check needs lots of work, the dual nozzle is more trouble than it's worth (unless they come up with a solution like tilting or retracting it when not in use), the entire print head is way too heavy for 8m...

Re: Bondtech BMG upgrade for the N series
I'll order the single version if available. Never had much luck with dual nozzle setups that have the nozzles on the same level. If the single version will be cheaper, sign me up for one!

Re: Bondtech BMG upgrade for the N series
Is there a single extruder version? Or is it possible to remove the second motor to make it even lighter?

Re: Dissapointed with your quality and retailer
The level of irresponsibility of Raise3d is on another level. They are not willing to provide a solution after seeing it for themselves that the machine looked almost used, with bent doors (which they said is within tolerance), factory misaligned bed (make improvements they suggested), uneven nozzle...

Re: N2 plus not a great experience before even printing
I'm trying to either get a replacement or return it, however neither Raise3d or the reseller want to own up and provide a solution. The reseller says Raise3d has to provide the replacement and Raise3d says to contact the reseller.

Re: How to level the two nozzles?
That confirmed my suspicion that no matter how much I tried, I couldn't level them properly. When everything is ready and you tighten the set screw it does move the hotend up. Raise3d thinks they are selling a kit or something? We need to tinker with this machine to get it working properly? I didn't...

How to level the two nozzles?
Can someone please post step by step instructions on how to properly level the two nozzles? The instructions (video) that the company posted are a joke. I tried doing it that way with a business card and the right nozzle still clips the prints, scratches them, knocks them or breaks them. Maybe I hav...

It's not "too close" and it's not "too far". It's "just right".

Re: N2 plus not a great experience before even printing
I moved the right nozzle out of the way (basically making the printer into a single extruder) with better but not perfect prints. There is still scratching the model here and there but with less fails. It's amazing to me that raise3d support doesn't want to take responsibility for a printer that's n...

Re: Dissapointed with your quality and retailer
Yup. Exact same experience with the greasy hand prints, dirty interior, dust, scratches and bent doors. Also the the bed not aligned and nozzles hitting the prints.
But don't worry, they will take your feedback, pass it on to the Chinese factory and improve future operations!

Re: N2 plus not a great experience before even printing
Now support is suggesting that I wrap heat insulating pads to the blocks. They are saying the heat is making the parts warp and the nozzles then strike the part. Is anyone else having this issue? If this is a design flaw then why don't they do this insulation from the factory? I want to know if I ju...
