Re: Extruder endlessly unloads at the beginning of a print.

Thank you for all the info, I appreciate it. I just used the S3D profile that was available in the setup wizard in S3D and added a couple lines of code. Iv'e attached the FFF profile.

Re: Extruder endlessly unloads at the beginning of a print.

What that indicates is that the command to load filament (manual command you send by using the LCD) does not reset to G92 E0 and so, your print resumes with a gcode E length and that's why it unloads. Question is, what slicer are you using, what style of gcode extrusion (absolute, or relative) and ...

Extruder endlessly unloads at the beginning of a print.

I'm running into a problem where I begin a print and right at the point where the extruder would usually purge, it unloads instead. It seems as if I didn't switch the printer off it would spin backward infinitely. The print will not stop at this point, the only way to kill the endless unload is to p...

Re: Bondtech BMG upgrade for the N series

I have zero interest in dual extrusion on the N2, but I would really like to add the single BMG and pancake motor. Any plans on making a kit for the N2 for that configuration?

Re: Bad adhesion of Buildtak

I've printed a couple of large ABS objects successfully, directly on to the glass with PVA glue (Elmer's Xtreme glue stick). I spent a very frustrating hour or so leveling the bed when I first got the machine, but I've been printing every day since then (a little over a month) without adjustment asi...

Another fan duct: http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:2258157 I ditched my second hot-end in favour of good GCode controllable cooling. This fan duct is a remix of Socke's, modified to blow closer to the print. IMG_6178.JPG Shown here in Raise PLA to test it out. So far so good, i'm getting the cooling...

Where did the hot end graphic go??

IMG_6156.JPG

Noticed the graphic missing today, restarting didn't change anything. The printer is running fine, but thought this was a bit strange.

No, I mean the electrical load on that connection.

Re: Adding GCode to reduce ringing

I'm just beginning to learn more about GCode, when adding to/customizing your start or end scripts, does it matter in what order you add different lines/commands? Are there any best practices? As an example, take the M205 X10 command. Does it make any difference if I were to place that as the very t...

Re: Properly removing second hot-end and all related parts?

Vicki,

Also wondering, what is the maximum draw we can safely put on the gcode controllable fan output?

Properly removing second hot-end and all related parts?

The lack of good downward cooling options for N2 dual models has got me thinking about ditching the dual extrusion option entirely to make room for a good downward cooling option. There are very few options for additional downward cooling, and the ones that I have seen are clunky and only address on...

Re: Guiding tubes rubbing against top cover

I've also been bugged by this issue. It caused a surprising amount of noise, to where I thought something in the gantry was binding. When I noticed the tube rubbing on the lid, I propped it up and the noise that I thought was some minor binding instantly went away. Very glad I didn't need to re-alig...

Re: Recommended settings for Simplify3D?

I'd Also be interested in what people have encountered using S3D with the N2/N2+. Personally I've encountered an issue with S3D, where the model is shifted in the build volume after slicing, which you can see in preview mode. Not a problem with a small model, however, when slicing a large model that...
