Bed leveling again

Hi again well I was aaalmost happy with my N2 but the bed is really a pita... it coasts me nerves on a daily base. I learned so far: The bed is basically never level... if the bed is by chance level anyway because you just leveled it, it will doubtless get unleveled: - after the next few z-axis move...

Re: Project Bondtech Extruder

Well a little update... after setting the voltage of the two extruder motors to 0.6 V printing with one extruder is working great. Although I'm still asking myself what difference this whole Bondtech-upgrade finally made... I was able to print dual color with the original setup... I was able to prin...

Re: Project Bondtech Extruder

I guess I went through almost everything but don't get it. Do I need another firmware to print dual or not? Is this firmware form Raise3D or is that some sort of hack? (meanwhile the directdrive got stuck after 2h of printing... motor is burning hot damn... not sure if I'm already regreting this upg...

Re: Project Bondtech Extruder

Hi there everybody just got a complete Bondtech hybrid kit installed... direct drive is working fine but no chance to get the Bowden working. I put the step correction lines in both gcode-tabs in IdeaMaker (1 extruder and 2 extruder). If I start a print with support and want to print the support wit...

Re: A little disappointed with the N2

It has a logic as following, the movement will stop when the printer finds that it has already finished the longest it can move. Which means, if it is a N2's Z direction, the max movement is 305mm. If the printer finds that it has already moved 305mm in Z, it will stop moving immediately. But this ...

@vicky: can you tell us: what will happen, if the z-stop does not work while the bed is moving up?

Re: A little disappointed with the N2

thanks a lot for the answer... - the spool holder is a cheap solution. some spools with bigger holes are askew and scratch the plexi door, others squeek... so check the thingiverse file I've provided above... if you would implement that in factory users would be very happy I'm sure... just printed t...

A little disappointed with the N2

Hi Raise3D-Team well actually I like my N2 but there are a few things I want to address here that are "no gos" imho. I mean seriously... if I buy a printer for over 3000 bucks I don't want to spend the first two weeks printing parts for itself so it may finally work without flaws! Here is ...

Re: First solid layer on top of infill messed (corners curl)

Hey guys check this huge difference in patterns... Simplify3D vs. Ideamaker first solid layer on infill. Btw. same Layer hight Ideamker guesses 15h S3D 12h... strange... guess I will definitely switch to Simplify3D. First solid layers on infill examples (both 20% fill density): IdeaMaker: idea.JPG S...

First solid layer on top of infill messed (corners curl)

Hi there I want to print this toothbrush-loader-station: pic1.JPG Problem is the first solid layer above the infill... gets messed up completely on the edges... curl up and then the mess starts. pic2.JPG Any ideas? Solid fill pattern to rectilinear? Reducing layer hight (it's now 0.25)? I already pr...
