Re: My bed mods

@zemlin: Yes I know, I was always frustrated with Up Plus bed clips so I made custom beds at the time. They required a raft. With the Raise I was happy using the Buildtak and I printed a few models raftless. But because the bed is so big I just assumed (never do that  ) Raise3D would have offs...

Re: My bed mods

When I use the screen to move the head around I don't even get 300 mm in the y axis before it bumps the back.. And If i have to use the origin as beginning the nozzle will also hit the front clips if I want to use those (less than) 300 mm. I don't get it, am I missing something here? I thought the ...

Re: My bed mods

I have a question about this, I don't fully understand this bed. I am preparing a new bed (I have a second hand N2 Plus Dual) with Buildtak. The glass is now completey covered with Buildtak but my new sheets are 12x12 inches so smaller. When I use the screen to move the head around I don't even get ...

Re: Fan Mod (Extra Gcode Controlled Fan)

Hey thanks, i was looking into a parts cooling fan for quite some time. I even copied and printed out one version from thingverse nut realized, this rear mounted option won't work on my N1. I use EBM Pabst Fans with very good results. They're not cheap at all, but when it's a sound-sensitive enviro...

Re: Fan Mod (Extra Gcode Controlled Fan)

Thanks, I am looking for some good fans as I would like some more airflow. The one in the picture of my print is also 0.8W, maybe I can find some Sunon with a bit more. For instance, this is 1.2W and moves 13.59M3/hour: https://www.ebay.nl/itm/1-Stuck-Lufter-Sunon-MagLev-Fan-KDE1204PFV2-12V-1-2W-40x...

Fan Mod (Extra Gcode Controlled Fan)

I 3D printed and uploaded a fan mod on Thingiverse. In this setup the 35 mm fans only cool the cold end and an extra 40 mm fan on the front can cool the prints using gcode. Link: https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:2792586 I made this with Formfutura Premium ABS as it can handle the heat. It was made ...

I uploaded a fan mod on Thingiverse. In this setup the 35 mm fans only cool the cold end and an extra 40 mm fan on the front can cool the prints of both nozzles using gcode. Re: ideaMaker 3.1.0 Release Note

May I ask the picture of your screen now? Does the print head home to origin position and the nozzles and heated bed stop heating? I finished some other shorter print job, it was about 1 hour and with 3 minutes left the model was finished. The print head homed, the message to press OK/Job finsihed ...

Re: ideaMaker 3.1.0 Release Note

Looks nice, thanks for the update. I just finished a 16 hour print, the screen said 1 hour 13 minutes left but it finished (?). May I ask the picture of your screen now? Dual Color Cat

I made a few of these dual color cat models by Nervous System: https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:62536

They were made with Formfutura Premium ABS and one was smoothed with acetone and coated with clear glossy varnish.

Yes, one filament run-out sensor includes two sensors inside. Which can support dual nozzles at the same time.

Nice, thanks!

Re: Printer Filament Monitor

No, I asked if this will be for dual nozzle because it has two holes. Instagram Raise3D: ''Absolutely! Sensors to monitor both strands when in use.''

Otherwise it will be a bit too expensive.

Re: has anyone here tried HydroFill support material with ABS?

You may have a look here: http://forum.raise3d.com/viewtopic.php?f=8&t=5912 I just posted some tips and a R3D-N2-Profile for BVOH and ABS that works for me. I know BVOH is not cheap - but it does the trick (at least for me) and dissolves quite quick in water. Thanks! I was thinking about orderi...

Re: has anyone here tried HydroFill support material with ABS?

Looks like I got my final answer from Airwolf3D: ''That would be the best recommendations i could give. Im not too familiar with raise3d hotend so if it is susceptible to heat creep then you might have issues printing hydrofill with it.'' So stay around 230 to 235 degrees and use a wipe tower.. I gu...
