Re: Warp Core/Game Room deco

@woofy I used two LED strips I bought on Amazon : https://www.amazon.com/dp/B074TDLXPT/ref=nav_timeline_asin?_encoding=UTF8&psc=1 Each strip has a "universal" remote that can be paired to control only one strip, so I can change the patterns of the LED's individually. There are 366 diff...

Warp Core/Game Room deco

I have always wanted a game room/home arcade in my house. I finally was able to "get started" on it. Thought I would post some pictures as I have used the Raise3D N2+ to print all of the sci-fi or arcade decorations in the room. These are all just arcade oriented items, all available on th...

Re: Single extruder multiple color using the Mosaic Palette

What Jetguy said. Also, the filament getting stuck in the scroll wheel: Happens to me 6 out of every 10 prints. I just watch it and when filament first comes into scroll wheel housing, I wiggle the incoming ptfe tube a bit while putting pressure on the magnet and it will pop into place and continue...

Re: Single extruder multiple color using the Mosaic Palette

@brennanfoo I cut down the 4mm(OD) clear tube that came with my raise to 175mm and couple it to the Mosaic tube with a 4mm to 5.75mm coupling I printed. Keep in mind I am using a bondtech directdrive hybrid, so the tall Raise3D extruder riser that comes with the N2+ Dual is not in use and will alter...

Re: Power back up for raise 3d n2 plus

Heh, A local K-Mart my company was remodeling years ago was replacing it rather than putting new cells into it, so I took it apart and popped it into my basement to run my radios and computers and just look really cool. And it did, but it was also pretty loud so I always had to have headphones on to...

Re: Dual extrusion prints

Hi there! Dual extrusion. Yes. I have a N2+ dual, and it performs the same as my Qidi Tech 1 dual for dual extrusion prints. Albeit the N2 at higher resolution etc etc. Here's the deal with dual extrusion. It works, but it is always gonna be messy. Getting supports off when u print with solubles? Ye...

Re: Power back up for raise 3d n2 plus

John is correct. I am using a small APC UPS just to protect against brownouts and quick power blips. The most I have seen the N2+ pull is 486 watts. That is running one extruder heater, the heated bed, x+y steppers, and controllers. That does not include the two LED strips for lighting as mine are d...

Re: Single extruder multiple color using the Mosaic Palette

@brennanfoo here they are- Bender and the fish

And thanks for pushing out the update. Jetguy is right. The blobs are a bit of a pain. Will be updating immediately!
Are Jetguys Raise3D gcode fixes incorporated to this build??

Re: Single extruder multiple color using the Mosaic Palette

Excellent information. I'm going to rebuild my hotend today, and try to get the Raise going again.
The qidi however, is turning out amazing prints.. Just about finished with a couple of the clownfish, and printed a Bender (futurama) the other day.

Re: Single extruder multiple color using the Mosaic Palette

Ok, so aside from being stupid busy and not having a lot of time, here is my quick and dirty. I started out with receiving my bondtech upgrade 3 days before the Palette+ arrived. So, I spent the first week trying to print with a horribly misaligned extruder drive... Figured that out and started in w...

Re: Single extruder multiple color using the Mosaic Palette

If it comes up again, I absolutely will. I just tore down the bondtech and yep, I had it horribly misaligned. Corrected that and running a few test prints with the palette out of workflow. Once I am comfortable my assembly is right, I will get back to the palette. Damn, that clown fish it awesome......

Re: Single extruder multiple color using the Mosaic Palette

I had a splice just like that yesterday. Noticed it when it got caught up in the scroll wheel... I've also had several instances where the very first splice looks like it was only cut and not actually heated and spliced. And yes, clear tubes would be great. Have been shining a flashlight through the...

Re: Single extruder multiple color using the Mosaic Palette

Been away for several days. I'm having what I assume is a drive gear alignment issue in my bondtech. Things seem to go well for a while but then I lose extrusion at some point early on in print. I'm going to check alignment this afternoon and run a cpl test benchys before I mess with the palette for...
