Re: Source for Reasonably-Priced Nozzles

Yeah, I knew they're M6, I just wasn't sure if the seat that butts against the feed tube is special in any way, thanks!

Re: Source for Reasonably-Priced Nozzles

I guess I'll just have to buy some from various sources and test them, thanks.

Re: Rafts Y/N? (Supports not sticking to bed)

I print PLA, PETG, and PolyMide on PEI. If the print has a large amount of surface area in contact with the bed, I will often go raftless. With parts that have only edges, or a lot of support, in contact with the bed I use a raft to ensure adhesion. Never had a problem with raft removal, they peel r...

Source for Reasonably-Priced Nozzles

Looking for a U.S. source for decent-quality N2-compatible brass nozzles at a rational price. I would be happy to patronize Raise3D or its resellers, but I'm not going to pay $20 for a 30-cent nozzle. I don't need stainless or ruby or hardened or anything special, just a nice brass nozzle that fits ...

Re: Filament delivery

It can, and has, happened with the PTFE tube installed as it comes from the factory.

Re: Filament delivery

Looks good, but what problem is it solving? I haven't had any issues with the stock setup - at least none that this would resolve. With a relatively full spool and a bit of rotational momentum, the stock setup can sometimes spill filament off the spool, which wraps around the holder axle and jams, ...

Re: Filament delivery

I use overhead with all my other printers, but I like leaving the cover on the N2 because it greatly reduces the sound level.

Re: Spiral print rough on one side

T-Glase and PC are going to have very different melting, extrusion, and solidifying characteristics, that could absolutely account for this kind of different outcome.

Re: Printer Filament Monitor

Has this thing shipped yet? I'm pretty sure I pre-ordered as soon as I got the email. If not, any new release date? Last estimate from Raise was "March", which I'm pretty sure is over.

Re: Are Templates Updated on Import?

Like you, I've used the original N2 templates even though I've had a V2 since the day they came out. I'm asking because I only just realized I've been using the "wrong" printer setting all this time, lol.

Re: Are Templates Updated on Import?

Ah, thanks. I assumed there might be some parameter differences like extrusion rates, retraction, etc.

Are Templates Updated on Import?

I have a bunch of templates created with the printer set to "N2". If I export one of those, change the printer to "N2 V2 Hot End", and then import it, will the settings be automatically updated for compatibility with the V2 hot end? Or will I just have the old V1 template now in ...
