DYZE Filament Sentinel

Hi Raise3D Recently I sent an e-mail to Dyze Design asking them about the DYZE Filament Sentinel and if it works on Raise3D Products. They responded and said they are working with a few folks at Raise3D to make this happen. Just checking to see if this is a possibility. This tool will detect your fi...

Extra Restart Amount

Hi Everyone My prints have zits and I know in S3D you can add a negative value (-0.2mm for example) for "Extra Restart Distance" that will help in eliminating them. In IdeaMaker would the same feature be "Extra Restart Amount" and does it support negative values? Basically is thi...

Re: Setting Changes Aligned with Nozzle Size?

Thanks Vicky but my first layer has multiple holes for screws and without a raft it just doesn't seem to work properly. Maybe it's moving to fast when printing the circles. I will slow it down to a crawl and see what happens. :-)

Re: Setting Changes Aligned with Nozzle Size?

Thanks for the feedback guys. walshlg -- Yeah that makes sense and explains the gaps I'm getting. Must be moving too fast! I'll slow it down Michael -- Yeah I get that but there should be some linkage to setting changes. Like when printing with ABS/PLA one setting should affect others or there shoul...

Setting Changes Aligned with Nozzle Size?

Hey guys

Not sure about this one.

When I change the nozzle size to 0.6mm how does that affect other settings. Does Ideamaker know to update the flow rate, the raft gap, Ooze, retraction, etc...?

Or do you have to go in and fiddle with this stuff (if required?) by yourself?

Thanks
Hovig

Re: Help needed - loss of y accuracy

Yeah his print quality problem was different then mine. Picture attached.

All my prints are coming out with this gaps/holes. I'm even using a brand new nozzle and hot end.

When I saw this post and proceeded to tighten my couplers I noticed that this part was cracked with a chunk missing.

Would it also be a cause of vibration?

Re: Help needed - loss of y accuracy

Hi Vicky I've been having issues with gaps in layers mostly on the "Y" and found this post. I then proceeded to tighten and noticed the crack and exposed screw on the gantry. Now thinking this is causing my issues? How can I get this fixed? Thinking I need a replacement part? Also going to...

V2H Nozzles Swap & Adjustment

Hi Everyone! Me again. :-) I recently purchased the V2H Nozzles. These are bigger then the brass ones. I followed the instructions and used the hot end installation tool and did the change but the nozzle is hitting the build plate. How do I adjust that to get it to the 0.2mm required distance? Thank...

Re: Dual Nozzle Alignment

Cool! Thanks for the response. I had also left a question on the Raise3D YouTube for the Dual Nozzle Alignment instructions video and this is what they responded back with. Just for reference: "It is 0.2mm. We have now include a 0.2mm feeler gauge in the toolbox so you won't need to use a name ...

Dual Nozzle Alignment

Hi Everyone The Dual Nozzle Alignment instructions on the Raise3D YouTube channel utilizes a business card to align the nozzles gap between the build plate. What would the actual measurement be when not using a business card which is shown on the ? 3mm? Also isn't one nozzle lower then the other or ...

Re: Printing speed

Hi Everyone

What would you guys recommend as the safest high end speed for all settings that the printer can handle reliably while maintaining quality?
