Re: NEED HELP for Support - Settings

if that is the model you want to print you might want to change orientation so you do not need the support.

Printing without support or the least possible is usually preferred

Re: Connect to printer remotely?

Hi Noren, First let me start with the fact that a lot of people advice to not let a printer run unattended because it can be a dangerous machine heating up to hundreds of degrees etc. Now with that warning out of the way.... The most simple way would probably to have a machine with Ideamaker and Tea...

Re: V2 extruder skipping

Hi Pit516, Now that the machine has been setup (i had to adjust the leveling) it works perfectly with the raise3d filament printing at 220 degrees I did notice that after a while the guidetube was getting roughed up and i took one with a bigger ID (3mm) and still 4mm OD I also noticed some of my rol...

Re: Circle not perfect

you mean the outer line? that its facets? Your printer doesn't understand the concept of circle or arc so in the stil its basicly a sequence of small straight lines If you see facets that usually means you set the tolerance too low (i usually try to set it to 1 degree for a nice circle) btw what tem...

Re: Camera suggestions?

webcam is not integrated with raise3d software at all so you will need other software I myself have a 4MP camera that can pan and tilt in there and linked my domain to the camera to be able to watch it. if i want to control the printer i use teamviewer to take over a pc at home and start ideamaker (...

Re: Cannot pause / resume more than once

the pause is not instant, it will have a full buffer with the pause command added as last... if it has long simple lines it can take a while for the print to stop. on short lines it will end faster (needs more codes for same distance)

Re: TPE filament not sticking to anything

Sorry for the (very) late responds :) No i did not manage at the time to get it to work and had to give up on the project. As soon as i have some time to play around again (we ordered a new N1 that will free some time on the N2+) i will start retesting Personally i think i need to either try to prin...

Re: ideaMaker 2.2.3 Release Note 2016.8.25

those willing to only move in X or Y (or Z for that matter) direction can just use the numbers on the left to change only one axis , i prefer this click and drag over the arrows only. if they would build in the option to turn it off and on it would be the best of both worlds i guess :)

Re: BTSN2 Build Plate for Raise3D N2 Printers

With hairspray i use the buildplate as much as i can but i do not print twice on the same area. When i take the print off the spot where it was has little or no grip anymore and causes lift. So no i dont take it out and clean each print but yes after i use the whole plate once i do need to take it o...

Re: The fans don't start

both have to be on constantly. Most likely error might be small plastic debris in between the fan

If you cant find it,then get them replaced but dont print without the fans being on or you might get a clog in the cold end

Re: Off premises access, IM to printer

by the time a fire starts cutting the electricity will probably not do much good and the camera or cables might have been melted away already too. Supervision, smoke detector, a close by fire extinguisher and if at work maybe an automated sprinkler system would be better (and i do realize this is no...

Re: Newbie question about motors

"Jetguy seems to think that all of the new people should spend a lot of time reading and learning about their new printers." Yes and i would pull it broader , ANY appliance someone buys one should FIRST and BEFORE purchase look into what it is, how to use it and what the dangers are. I oft...

Re: Off premises access, IM to printer

Please be aware of the dangers and risks if you run the printer remote or unattended

It could in the worst case cost you your house and/or lives

(not saying you cant or shouldnt, i do it too but be aware of the risks!)

Re: Humidity in Florida and filament storage

I have even seen ppl adding the fittings like we have on the raise3d printer so they can print straight from that box, i have not done that yet (since it would require some sort of setup above the printer to place the box to feed it)

Re: Extruder hits the bed's metal clip

Consider where you print and place the clip . i often change the clips location if i print at the front right so it can not hit the clip
(i only use 1 clip, seems enough to hold the glass)
