Re: Standard R3D PLA

Do you use the guide tube that come with the machine? Remove that if you do. Also, several time the extrusion get into issue due to the way filament spool holder locate. If possible try to put filament spool on top of the printer and let the gravity help to pull it down straight into the extruder.

It is unofficial version (testing), posted by Vicky in another topic. http://forum.raise3d.com/viewtopic.php?f=2&t=593&start=40 Where did you see this? I just checked Github and official downloads. I see your commit here https://github.com/Firesped/Marlin-Raise3D-N-Series/commits/FRS But I d...

Re: Tech support unable to advise, printing ceases after 30-40 mins

What filament PLA brand are you using? If you are sure that you measure 130c at hot end while it is printing, then you should check the wiring of thermocouple to the mini board on extruder, then try to use the 2nd thermocouple that you had prior removed to replace with the 1st one. Make sure that bo...

Re: a very very clogged hotend- advice

I had once bigger blob than this after failed print over night for full bed size object. I didnt have the heat gun, so I just used another hotend to melt (heat up to around 150c) by pressing it into the plastic ball till it reach the metal hotend inside. Wait it to get cool down for a 30seconds, the...

have you check the belt tension and screw tightness on each pulley at the corners. When printing the circular, please observe what happen when printing on that defect part - any mechanic noise or unusual behaviors that you can notice? I have experience similar defect when I printed a full size circl...

Re: A little disappointed with the N2

That is exactly what I request them to change in the firmware, unable to turn off the LCD screen when battery is below 60-70% even when unplugged the power cable - is a very bad design. The LCD will keep flashing. The only thing you can do is to turn it on, and left it overnight. I dont want to imag...

Re: Resuming Print - N2

To bypass this issue, you can connect to printer via Ideamaker through wifi and adjust the setting from that mirror interface screen. I have this happened to me sometime too, but it can continue to print without problem.

Re: Clogging during a print

Most of all metal hotend will have issue with standard PLA because of constant retraction, causing filament which get soften clogged in the thermal tube. Polymaker PLA or Raise3D Premium (Polymaker OEM) have higher temp glass transition, so it can retain its form better in thermal tube. You can try ...

What version of micro swiss do you use? I used to contact them and they said that it is commissioned by Raise3D and they can not sell it through their store.

Re: BTSN2 Build Plate for Raise3D N2 Printers

Hi Michael Can you upload video showing how it work, especially the part where you can bend the plate to release the print object? Does it resist to crack under pressure better than borosilicate glass? I have already break my plate while trying to remove the large print object. As you mentioned that...

Re: Help needed : unwanted xy translation during prints

You might want to try Z hop feature , it might increase the print time (the time estimation given in the slicer is way off so just ignore it) but can help to minimize collision.

Re: N2+ Initial Problems

I just have similar issue where the friction happen at certain point on XY axis. This is how I solve the problem with Vicky suggestion. 1) switch off the printer and try to move the extruder around with hand, take note of the point where it is hard to move. 2) Unscrew the convex screw on the right a...

Re: Any Owners Out There? Should I drop my Zortrax Inventure Pre-order?

Maybe you should also post this topic in Zortrax forum, it will be great to see from different perspective. I too, feel that Zortrax Inventure is an overprice model. My workhorse 3D printer is Flashforge Creator Pro with sailfish 7.7 firmware. The parts can be easily source when something broke. For...

Re: New Extruder, Bad Jam

Important point is that if it is very hard to remove the nozzle, don't try to force it. You should do this while it is hot - heat to 120-150c should be enough, and when assemble back, you need to tighten while heat the nozzle to ensure there is be no gap between nozzle and tube. I have this happened...

Do you use the default setting profile for Raise3D in Simplify3D? I believe their latest version has profile ready for Raise3D.

Apart from flow rate, you need to check the filament setting too such as diameter and density and use the number from Ideamaker to Simplify3D

Re: Extruder leaking

I have experience similar problem with V2, and I will suggest that you need to do when it is hot otherwise, you might damage the thread screw of heat block like I do.
