I was finally able to sort it out. First i went into regedit and exported the whole thing in case I stuffed it up, then I searched for all raise3d reference and deleted them. No good. What did work was I installed it on another computer copy and pasted it from the pc onto a usb stick, then copy pas...

Re: ideaMaker 3.0.0-beta Release Note 2017.10.23

When I run my printers, I have my own "Printer Settings". I would like to be able to only have those ones present and have the option to delete all the other types of machines that I don't have. Could you make it possible to remove every type of machine there instead of the ones that the e...

Re: Full maintenance teardown - what should I replace/upgrade?

Dont get to carried away by pulling apart the top of the printer to replace the 14 pin IDC ribbon cable. Why? They always fail, I have gone through 6 of them and one of them was faulty. The current ones have lasted a while. I tend to know when they are failing as the temps on the extruders go a litt...

I have great results with ASA on my Zortrax with the standars ABS profile, but I am not able to produce a good interlayer adhesion on my N2plus with the bondtech extruder, could anyone share their sucessfull settings? Hi Martin, A couple of things to try, one is bump the temp up a bit and to slow i...

Re: print polypropylene (PP) = nightmare

As you have used all the build plates, what seemed to be the most versatile product and how long do they need to last before being replaced?

I had a look at their sites, and none were available for sale for the n2 build plate size.

Re: Extruder Switched off MAXTEMP triggered

This problem cause me 3 months of anguish. In the end, it was the grey 14 pin idc cable on the extruder board. After 3 months I got it working again only for the machine right next to it to catch it as well and had to wait a while for the part to come over again. I suggest you buy a few of these cab...

Re: Bondtech BMG upgrade for the N series

Thanks Socke,
While waiting, what I did to insert the roll was to loosen the spring screw on the side and push it to the bottom, job done.
Print was off doing its own thing quickly.

Re: ASA Filament - I'm liking it!

Hi John, I have put through about 100kg of ASA through my machines, there are a few tricks to printing with ASA that I have noticed, firstly, have the fan blowing about 10% or so on to the part. Slowing the print down also helps with layer seperation. I also found that I had to have the bed heated t...

Will you be offering any discount for the people who bought the earlier N2 extruders? I bought one a few weeks ago and another a while back, but I think this one is going to be an awesome upgrade and I want it. I am a bit the same, I have already bought 4 of these for my machines, and I would like ...

Martin, will you make an adapter available for those of us with the original kickerstarter motors? I think Jetguy mentioned that the cables / plugs are not the same as the new pancake motors? thanks!
