Re: Error: thermal runaway... Now both extruders unresponsive

I just received 20 sets of these clips and the freight was still more than them. Ah well. At least I have the spares now should I need them.

Re: Touchscreen turned white n2plus.

I have found a few of these screens for 29.00 AUD. I will buy what little stock they have left as another one looks like it is on its way out.

Touchscreen turned white n2plus.

Hi Guys, Looking for a solution to fix my touchscreen, through hacking or finding a replacement screen only for it. The touch side still works its just that the screen has gone completely white. I had a look at a full replacement and $1,000 for one is just not going to happen. I did see that jetguy ...

Re: Error: thermal runaway... Now both extruders unresponsive

Now, why was that so hard? Why cannot Raise 3D tech support just post or answer what the user asked for? Why jerk the user around and have them open a ticket and wait days for some moron of a technician to slowly spoon feed a reply? Oh sure, they want to sell you an overpriced cable, replace your b...

I just received my Bondtech (Direct from bondtech), It had 2 filaments in it, from what I can see it is there just to test that the extruder works as intended.

Printer Settings

Hi Guys, I upgraded my early n2 plus to the bondtech extruders which have 140 steps per mm. I had to modify and create a new printer in ideamaker to do this. Can I do something similar in raise cloud? The other benefit of using ideamaker was that when i changed to a different printer setting that ha...

Re: Thick, Solid PLA Prints are Lifting

Hi Bajud, I print straight on to the glass bed, I found the build tak to be rubbish so I dont use it. Next check your z layer height to make sure it is the right distance from the plate. After that, print the first layer really slow, like 8 -12 mm/s making sure it gets a very good adhesion to the be...

Re: Error: thermal runaway... Now both extruders unresponsive

the ribbon cable is a 14 wire cable. the question being is wither a better cable can be made using something like 24 AWG, 20 Conductor, Computer Cable, Foil Shield, but I guess that will depend on how big that wire is. someone with more electrical knowledge can likely determine the cable size neede...

Hi Vicky, This is what I was talking about with the remove printer option for all printers. I dont use the V1 hotend at all but it still populates as a selection. Same with a bunch of other printers. I would like to run my printer list nice and lean so Only the printer profiles that I use populate t...

I was finally able to sort it out. First i went into regedit and exported the whole thing in case I stuffed it up, then I searched for all raise3d reference and deleted them. No good. What did work was I installed it on another computer copy and pasted it from the pc onto a usb stick, then copy pas...

Re: Full maintenance teardown - what should I replace/upgrade?

Dont get to carried away by pulling apart the top of the printer to replace the 14 pin IDC ribbon cable. Why? They always fail, I have gone through 6 of them and one of them was faulty. The current ones have lasted a while. I tend to know when they are failing as the temps on the extruders go a litt...
