Re: New Firmware Settings - Which is Master?

The sethings in the printer is used if you haven’t checked the acceleration and jerk check boxes in ideamaker. In that case those are used. That’s my understanding.

Re: Shrinkage in Circular object

Additional cooling could help some. Also lower the distance between layer and support. And print with dense support layers.

Realt don’t know. Haven’t pulled images to the computer yet. And I don’t have the standard Raise3D camera to compare to.

Uncheck "Show extruders printing range".

Try lowering the flow rate 10% and see if it makes a difference.

What does density affect?

What effect does changing the filament density have in the finished print? Does it affect anything more than the estimated print time? Does it affect the print?

Really nice. My only negative comment on this: it looks like it sags a little att the start and the beginning. Is it possible to stiffen it up a little to counteract the sagging?

Reslice without closing settings window. Feature request.

I have been experimenting with settings and I have gotten really fed up with how the slicing settings work.
I really would like to have the settings window remain open when changing things and realising. Jumping in and out of the advanced settings window is a real pita.

Re: New Idea Maker

I really would like more experimental features. Like the fussy skin option. (And I would like to be able to control the amount of surface noise like size, randomness and frequency. Like the adobe camera raw add grain options). Also missing variable layer height (that’s automatic and gets finer for c...

Re: Round Surface Not Smooth

If you get faceted faces it's likely due to the export from the program that you made the object in. Export at a higher resolution/polygon count. Circles are printed as line segments and you will often see this. Really common with objects on thingiverse, especially with the ones from tinkercad.

Re: IdeaMaker support for 3DConnexion SpaceNavigator for Notebooks.

We have already added it into our developing plan but we don't really have a lot experience with it from software developing side. It will take us some time to achieve. Nice to here. Another thing that would be nice is an option in the preferences to switch ideamakers navigation/pan/zoom to the exa...

And it also seems that you have to print really really slow to get it to stick. At least 50% of your usual speed.
