Re: Improvements by using TMC2130 driver.

Thanks for this topic to all of you Sorry for John with this mistake :( I think i'm going to do this even if i never had a skipped step. I wanted to know the difference between SD5984 that Zemlin installed on his printers (see above) Vs SD2224 ? i try to compare specs but i'm not an expert of these....

Re: Thermal-Protector - available soon to all

@Jetguy Yeah I figured that it may be the easiest to just cut the same pin in stead of trying to pry the little thing out probably damaging it. If it's not used anyway it's no problem. Thanks for the extensive info! Being dead honest, I'm sad they overlooked this detail as it is a problem and not e...

Re: Colorfabb XT-CF20 for 40h print

i didn't do that because i use these nozzles with abrasive material http://olssonruby.com/ I asked olssonruby if it's possible to add filet to their design but they don't do for the moment. But it seems to work well. Maybe i 'm going to try to polish a brass nozzle when i print XT clear. For XTCF20,...

Re: Colorfabb XT-CF20 for 40h print

Hi, first, you have to get a hardened nozzle (like ruby for example) to can resist to 40h print with abrasive filament. i've also plastic sticking on the nozzle with xt-cf20 (and also XT clear), i found this : you have to break the angle by polishing it) 1458297480-post1.jpg Results seems very good ...

Re: Members in France

Re: Bondtech BMG upgrade for the N series

Tx Jetguy for the weight !
I have other questions :
- is the left extruder do the same job (once calibrated with steps) than the mini bontech upgrade (cause i'm very happy with this) ?
- is the right extruder as good as the lefty one ?

Tx for your subjective point of view on this ?

Re: Bondtech BMG upgrade for the N series

Hello Dorbar, Yes, you have to realign the rods first, i had gave instructions from my experiences to get perfect square with rods http://forum.raise3d.com/viewtopic.php?f=4&t=1613 After, you can slightly move the X limit switch if necessary to get much room by playing with weldings... i hope yo...

Like Taulman advices

250/45°C with PVA glue on bed and no objet cooling
3.9mm and 50mm/s retraction
40mm/s and 25% first layer and 50% outline perimeter

but you have to dry it if you hear "pops" when it extrudes
