Model REPAIR

Hello Guys Why is it that in most cases, models imported or added to Ideamaker, are invalid and need to be repaired? Secondly, what is the repair done? Thirdly, sometimes it takes multiple repairs before it's finally ok for slicing, why? Sometimes the repair does not work as an stl but only as obj, ...

Re: Pausing Print NOT pausing!!!

If the print doesn't stop after shoot the pause, normally it is due to it hasn't complete the last code. So the board hasn't read the pause yet. If you can reproduce the problem again, you can export the serial log during waiting the pause. And share with us for double check. WHERE DO I GET THE SER...

Re: Pausing Print NOT pausing!!!

This would go a lot better for you if you inserted the pause gcode into the print file at the layer you wanted to stop at. I understand your frustration but what you do not seem to get is that there are some fundamental limitations of a 2 board control system and firmware. Beating your head against...

Re: Pausing Print NOT pausing!!!

Version is 0.9.2.1026

Nozzle movement and extruding DOES STOP after pressing PAUSE. But loading icon keeps rotating for upward of 10 TO 15 MINS SO I SWICHED OFF!

Re: Pausing Print NOT pausing!!!

I paused the print BEFORE end of print so that I could change filament. Nothing happened for over 10 minutes so I switched off.
Firmware version 1.1.1

Thank you

Pausing Print NOT pausing!!!

Hello Raisers, Help again please!!!! This problem has been festering for some time now. Each time I pause print it does not immediately pause. On this occasion I have been waiting for over 15mins for the pause to take effect so that I can change filament but not only is it not pausing, every other f...

Re: Flawed Printing

Again much appreciated, but I did use 5 layers and the waffle showed but now I think it is because infill was only 10%.

On the original problem, after removing the idle nozzle, the arc vanished, good job.

Re: Flawed Printing

Thanks for your response. Yes, its a dual extruder but I have removed the idle nozzle because I find that it invariably fouls support and ruins my flat prints; thanks for pointing this out. I was printing in ABS at around 240°C. The infill % solution noted, thanks. With the idle nozzle out of the wa...

Flawed Printing

Hello, Can anyone explain why this flat print is flawed and shows a ripple in form of an arc? http://forum.raise3d.com/download/file.php? The heated build plate and Buildtak are smooth and undamaged. The raft is also perfect with no undulations. I use two glass plates, swapped them but the arc still...

Resuming Print - N2

My touch screen has been "resuming Print" for about 3 hours now right in the middle of an 8hr print, preventing me from making adjustments to temperature or pausing Print. It started when I paused to remove some debris from the model and ever since this has been the case. I have previously...

Re: Oozing, Retraction lines

Thanks to lami3d and Walshlg your suggestions are appreciated. Thanks Jetguy, true it would add more time to what is already too long a print time but I think its the price to pay for an excellent print; no jetting around I guess  On another note, Jetguy how does one make those red windows and ...
