Re: life size statue of Kara from "detroit become human" game

Thanks for comments We made this statue for Sony, for the illustration of an event : the first day of the Quantic dream's"Detroit become Human" game on PS4 We use 3 stock N2+ and one with the bondtech upgrade. But we made the parts with 250µ thick slices, so we don't really see difference ...

life size statue of Kara from "detroit become human" game

Hello Guys,

This is what we made for the launch of the game.

The statue is 1.76 m high

It took 4 Raise3d N2+ and 3 weeks to print all parts. Plus "a little bit" of hard work :)

Have a nice day

Re: Single extruder multiple color using the Mosaic Palette

Since bellatrixzen is speaking about bondtech, do you think that the mosaic palette will work better with a bondtech mod ? I'm quite happy with the genuine raise3D extruder, and I never used a bondtech extruder, but I'm using my N2 machines for business, and I'm wondering if I can increase productiv...

Re: Single extruder multiple color using the Mosaic Palette

ok, I'm happy with your answer Jetguy. I can't wait trying the polysmooth/polymax mix for easy removable supports. And if it works with pva/polycast, we will have huge possibilities for producing metal parts...

Re: Single extruder multiple color using the Mosaic Palette

very impressed by your results, I just ordered a palette+, but maybe I've been too fast : will it work with the N2+ ? ( or only with the N1 ?)

Thank you Jetguy,

Yes this last one is perfect, and the concentric infill is very nice !
I hope we will be able to do the same in Ideamaker soon.

Re: problem with spiral vase mode

yes, the bad corner is less sharp. I have no layer change point set... I made other tests, and I found that the only case ideamaker makes a good gcode is for a perfect cylinder. In all other case you get artefacts. for instance, this model that seems to be made for the spiral vase mode : http://www....

Re: problem with spiral vase mode

Thank ou all for your help I made the cube test and it's still wrong. The difference is that the problem occurs on a corner so it's less visible. good corner : Capture1.JPG bad corner : Capture2.JPG I think that my first file was allready good for vase mode. I'm sharing it if you want to take a look...

problem with spiral vase mode

Hello, I have a problem printing in spiral vase mode. As you can see on the pictures, the surface of the part shows a defect that seems to be done at layer transition. I can also see it in the preview of the gcode. IMG_20170323_182119.jpg Capture.JPG I disabled the retractation to be sure it was not...

Re: HELP HELP N2 + Problem

Hi, My problem is solved. The solution was not to reset the board. This is the solution I was told by my distributor in France : 1) wait for the backlight to empty the battery ( the solution does'nt work if you unplugg the battery, don't ask me why...) 2) plug the machine and swith off the power 3) ...

Re: stepper driver problem ??

Thank you for your answer jetguy, I forgot to say some informations: I'm using a 0.5 mm zhop to minimize the risk of head colision. I also removed the right nozle for the same purpose. When the head moves in the direction of the problem, i can ear a noisy vibration coming from i don't know where. Th...

Re: Double extrusion, water-soluble support

Thank you both for your answers. I did some tests but none where good. I'm trying to produce parts with supports inside the part, only removable if water-soluble, and for the moment, it doesn't work at all. The support is allways mixed with the material... If someone has a working gcode for me, i'm ...
