Re: Filament Run-out Sensor Add-on

My main complaint here is the thermal protection should be a free or near free separate add on. There should be instructions and open source for mass producing it, it's 2 resistors and the connection cables, basically the identical copy of the hardware mod just plug into the mainboard. Don't get me...

Re: Adjusting E-steps for the old Bondtech extruder

Apologies if this has been answered already. I am using the older Bondtech extruder (1 x direct drive, 1 x bowden), and I just noticed that Bondtech have updated their instructions to adjust the E-step value. With the new firmware, it's now done directly through the settings menu on the machine: ht...

Re: Z offset

To avoid this issue ,I recommand to Raise3D to allow babytepping from the Pcduino and store it as Estep and other parametrable setting. then setting with endstop screw was done only one time. When we change noozle we can set the correct height dynamically and finally store the Z offset. It could be ...

Re: Printer Filament Monitor

another load on the print head.....where is the clogging detection? The chosen technology (optical sensor) will not allow to monitor that.
good news for bondetech user custom solution exist and works well (mechanical endstop or optical).

Re: Marlin 1.1.0 Unofficial firmware version 1.2.1.1

It was really appreciate from Raise3D to help to upgrade to last Marlin (1.1.6) because some nice feature could be add to this printer.
I 've a great one in mind: use TMC2130 with stallguard2 activated by SPI,and other cool feature (current setting, Hybrid mode, sensor less homing)

Re: Bltouch on Raise3d

Hi. Set Bltouch on Raise3D N2 Dual strictly according to instructions. The sensor works, the printer prints. But sensor works weird. Every time you have to put a new Z-offset. Same file the printer prints different from the first layer. In different corners of the table as the first layer is also d...
