Error map: Error: checksum mismatch

2017-09-26 11.14.10.jpg 2017-09-26 16.50.20.jpg Hello everyone, My N2 + with Bondtech runs without breakdowns for months. But recently, on prints of 48h, it disconnects after 5h (the printhead goes anywhere, the plate goes suddenly down to the height of the finished piece) and I get the message: &q...

Maximum print file size

Hello Raisers,

I can not find a topic on this problem: is there a maximum size for the print files? I had two consecutive crashes in mid-task. My slicing file is around 80 MB.
When I restart printing, the same problem recurs immediately. :?
Something tells me that the answer is in the question ...

Re: ideaMaker 2.3.0 Release Note 2016.11.21

Hello,
Thank you for having fixed the timing in the Z-hop function. Ideally it should also work for the raft.
thank you in advance

Re: Project Bondtech Extruder

Hi all, Martin's instructions are very valuable and helpful. Just take care if you are using a N2+. For the installation of the mini bowden extruder, the guide suggests cutting the original wire 10cm on one side and 20cm on the other side, and then welding them together. But be careful if you have a...

Re: Clogging during a print

Hello, I have a problem with printing. It is clogging from time to time. Printer of course is printing but .... Most interesting is it clogs almost in the same height, 20161010_111559_resized.jpg Maybe it is just coincident. I have the same problem right now. At the twelfth layer, extrusion stops. ...

Lifting printheads when not working

Is Raise3D considering a system like Ultimaker: mobile print heads that can be lifted a notch when they are not working?

Re: Should these screws be tightened at all

Sorry to bother you Vicky, I can't find the overall flowrate. I found for the first layer, for filling, for the supports ... Is the flowrate control for the first layer also works for other layers?

For information, here the same model printed before tightening the screws with layers of 0.25mm. No waves.

Sorry the pic was not very good. In this new photo you can see on the left the model printed before tightening the screws, right after. Not great, but a little better.

Re: Should these screws be tightened at all

Hi Vicky, Here is a pic of my last piece before I tightened the 8 screws. The model is 30cm high, in PLA, layers 0,1mm. To be quite honest, I think I posted a little faster. The second printing, with tight screw is a little better but not much. However, the machine is much quieter (with Z-hop featur...

Re: Should these screws be tightened at all

Hello,
What is the risk if the 8 screws Z axis are tightened? I did it and I get better results (there are no more waves) ... In addition, with the use of Z-hop, the machine is much quieter (the clicking was very strong before).

Re: What settings for the first layer (PLA)?

I understand. Thank you for the interesting information. For my part, I use a lot the raft at this time because I have important flat surfaces at the base of the model, and the adhesion is such that it is then difficult to take off safely the printed object.
