Re: glass bed can't be leveled because it's not flat :/

There are 2 main types of beds, the early version is a 9 point system and the current version is a 13 point system.

Re: Filament Initial Contact with BuildTak Concern

@Casale8,

The way to prevent a missed first line of filament is the Brim/Skirt option of the print. Just like Rogman said, a fill volume skirt will only take up a few inches of material so the waste is well below the 1/10th of a percent of the spool.

Re: Filament Initial Contact with BuildTak Concern

The first thing I would recommend is "Picking the nose" of the nozzle before the print starts. This will reduce the chance of the filament curling up on the first extrusion. The filament not extruding right off the bat is because of the filament that drips out of the nozzle leaves a small ...

Re: Hitting support layers / ZHOP settings

Hi Shane, I would like to check if you have adjusted the Left and Right nozzle offset? After the Z-Hop adjustment did you change your preset profile being used? If you were using the "Fine" profile for the small parts and the "Speed" profile for the larger print then the settings...

Re: offset y layer consistent & repeatable

Hi Stewart, If it is on the same model every time you print but not on any other models then it might just be a software hiccup. Try reslicing the model, I tend to give the part an angle of 15* in x/y to change the pattern of the slice. In the past this helped remove the hiccup in the slice. @Tinker...

Re: Incorrect "Model out of range" error, and bad image

Hi AJM,

I tried what you said and ideaMaker was not allowing me to slice the file, if you could provide us with some information on how you got around this it will help quite a bit.

Re: problem with dense support settings (ABS/HIPS)

Hi Jab136,

I will need to consult with Vicky but I believe we ran into this issue once before and found it to be a bug at the time. From what I have seen it was not affecting the Dense Layer but just the normal support. I will check with her and we will update you when we can.

Thank you,

Hi Behold, We apologize for the delay in approving the posts, there are a number of spam posts that come in every hour or so we have to filter out. If we simply allowed all posts to go through and mod them after the fact a user may open a link and get a virus. We do not want any of our users to have...

Re: New N2 Plus Setup

Hi Jevans, Thank you for reaching out and checking on this information. For adjusting the nozzle heights you will want to adjust them manually, use this video as a reference: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7Bv5rPmiO0Q&index=7&list=PLpmmiaOVQ9kA0LS0VnBygrqrfX4n7aLru Normally we adjust the no...

Well, we will not loose sight of which one to tackle for you! We just need to keep the tickets updated with current information, some of the people in the ticket system do not check the forums so if you update here they do not know what has happened.

Re: resuming failed print

Hi Behold, When you went to change the filament, did you happen to be near the printer or was it a command you put into the G-code? When I change filament, most of the time I just cut the line and feed in the new material while the print is running. If this is not something you feel comfortable doin...

Re: Raise3 ABS Permium does not stick to build plate

Hi Tinkerer, For the Raise ABS I normally run on the Glass with Purple Glue sticks. My settings are: Nozzle: 245c Bed: 110c Z-Gap at .2 (the shim I have on hand) I preheat the printer with the build plate for about 15 minutes before a print job. Did you happen to just modify the PLA profile for temp...

Re: access files on local drive

Hi Behold,

Currently we do not have an option to move a file from the local storage on the printer. The best option is to save the file on your computer as well as sending it to the printer via network.

Hi Tinkerer,

That is quite odd that the touchscreen just went out, has this happened before? As far as i'm aware, the serial log should not get wiped on restart. Please keep us posted and let us know if it happens again.

Hi chengl03,

We will need you to create a ticket and we will run through the possibilities, like Tinkerer said we will first be checking the fuses and from there we will need to run some tests.

Thanks,

Hi tinkerer,

The build area for the N2 should be 305x305x305mm

Re: Bad Layers again

Hi tinkerer,

Take a look and make sure the Z-Axis screws are not tightened down. This would be my first thought. Secondly this seems like a mechanical issue being that it happens across multiple prints. Send us a ticket so we can better assist you further.
