Print stats do not make it to dashboard

My last 2 prints have are not showing up in dashboard. All of the ones before it are listed in dashboard. Anyone know why? I am using Simplify3d to slice and have always used Simplify.

Re: Printing with z-ultrat

Mixed results so far. Sides are great, top and bottom not so great. I get tiny little skips on the flat tops and flat bottoms. The one on the left is ultrat.

Printing with z-ultrat

Anyone ever tried Zortrax Z-Ultrat on a Raise n2plus? If you did not know it is an enhanced ABS that is stronger and can higher temps than regular ABS. It has been warp free for me so far but my flat tops have irregularities aka tiny marks where the extruder does not push out the filament smoothly e...

Very impressive. What is your method of changing filament spools? I use a pause.

Re: Know the print time when print is finished

Never mind I found dashboard. It still would be nice to see the print time with the 3 big buttons.

Know the print time when print is finished

Right when the print is fnished, it would be good to see how long it took to print right on the screen with the 3 big buttons. It is almost always longer than the estimated time. Also, how can I tell the total number of hours that my machine has printed? I have seen this before but can' t find it. T...

Re: Error message after 2 seconds of printing

tech support figured it out. On single extruders there is a thermocoupler that is stored in the cable guard and it is connected to the little board on the extruder. It was bad probably due to the constant flexing.

Error message after 2 seconds of printing

Having some issues with my 10 month old n2plus. I was printing a long print and this morning found the printer stopped in the middle of the print over the part. I restarted the machine and tried another part. Now every time it gets to temperature just fine and prints for 2 seconds and then this erro...

Re: Occasional Streaks

What kind of filament wiping system do you use? I suspect it is nozzle related too so I changed it out.

Re: Occasional Streaks

Yep I know about the 140 steps per mm and had to add a line to the start script when I first got the extruder. It was printing very thin before I added the script. I use Simplify 3d. I got the line of script from Bondtech. It has been printing well lately till now.

Re: Occasional Streaks

Thanks Jetguy. I am using a Bondtech extruder. But I haven't changed the nozzle in over a month and been using it a lot.

Occasional Streaks

I am getting these streaks in random places. I have printed the same part twice and they don't show up in the same spot. The part is fairly thin along the sides, maybe 1/8". Using raise premium filament on my n2plus. :|

Re: Clicking sound on Z axis

So I tipped it over and put an allen wrench on the screws in the couplers. They were tight but I could not find a wrench that fit 2 of them. They must be 1.75mm and I don't have that size. Anyone ever seen one?? I looked it up and it is not for sale on amazon. The z belt was tight so i figure it is ...

Re: Clicking sound on Z axis

It sounds like it is in the base. So Jetguy, you are saying just tighten the little screws on both of the couplers.... after getting the bottom cover off and 4 motor screws off. Will the motor loosen at all?

Re: Clicking sound on Z axis

Well it just stopped for some reason. It does not happen when I manually move the Z up and down. I have a custom guide tube of teflon so it is good.

Where is the flex coupler for the Z? Thanks for the replies.

Clicking sound on Z axis

Not a deal breaker or anything but everytime my Z axis moves down I hear a noticeable loud clicking sound. I do have Z hopping turned on via Simplify 3d. It did not happen when I first turned on Z hopping.

Difference between the colorful PLA and Premium PLA

Was curious to know what the differences are between the 2 types of PLA sold on the Raise web site? I have used both and really don't see much difference. Maybe colorful is more glossy.

USB plug at the top

Was wondering if the usb plug at the top back has enough power to juice up a camera and if I can up its power a little. I plugged in a dropcam and the little light goes on but it does not work. I have to use a wall plug to make it work.
