Serial error : unknown

We have had this "Serial error : unknown" problem that stops a print which worked fine 3 times before.
says
please check hardware and retry
or
Serial error : no such file or directory - dump file save complete

Serial port is not open

Any ideas?

Thanks

Re: Upgrade Components for N Series are Coming!

No point in upgrading then if the dual nozzle is as useless as day one.

Re: Upgrade Components for N Series are Coming!

When you say "Dual Extruder" does this include the ability to raise and lower the left and right nozzle?

Re: Broken Build Plate

I ended up get FR-4 Board machined with 1mm holes every 10 mm like the Zortrax. Its is a much better set up than glass and build tack. We have done 8000 hrs of prints and rarely have a issue.

Under support settings

Just wondering if someone has good settings they can post for under part supports.
I having trouble finding a good setting to get the support layer off the part.
90% of my prints are ABS some in HIPS.

Thanks

Re: N2 Feed back and Perforated bed file

These printer are running everyday, and fast clocking up hours. I dont think the buildtak can handle parts being removed when the bed it still warm. I had issues with parts being difficult to remove from the bed. After adjusting the Z offset it was easier but then the larger flat ABS parts would not...

N2 Feed back and Perforated bed file

Hi All, I've been using the N2 plus for about 6 months now and finding it to be a good machine. I had a few issues when first using it. Coming from a Zortax the N2 required a lot more effort to get the results you want. How ever once you understand the N2, the quality of the prints is fantastic. The...

Broken Build Plate

I've just broken the glass build plate trying to remove the buildtak. I have found the buildtak works well to stick parts to the plate but I'm only getting 100 hours of printing out of the buildtak before it bubbles up and causes issues. I'm looking into making a build plate like the Zortax out of F...

Under Support Layer

I have been using the N2 Plus for a few months now and getting my head around the differences with our Zortax M200. The M200 is very easy machine to uses and but only allows you to play with a small amount of options. One thing the M200 does well it builds and under support before laying down the la...

Dual Nozzle Diameters

Are both nozzle diameters from factory 0.4mm??
Ive been having some issues with rough finishes on the parts since changing the guide tube in the hotend.
I just checked both nozzles and the left one is much larger then the other right.
I'm just about to switch them over, to see if this fixes the issue.
